You would really love Madeon you should react to Good Faith and the follow up singles (The Prince, Love You Back, Gonna Be Good)
I literally thought in my head after hearing your story a few mins in..... MAN I CANT WAIT TELL HE HEARS 100% in the bitch.... was not disappointed lol! We were hardcore back then lol!
Worlds has literally been the only reason I’ve truly been happy this past year and half. It’s such a great album. I’ve only seen worlds live once but I’ve seen porter live multiple times and he’s so amazing.
@@pacothebull9660 i mentioned in the video, but it makes me really mad that i didn't find Worlds sooner. i know i would have LOVED it if i had heard it during my big EDM phase when i was from like 11-15 years old. i thought that that era had kinda past me and i didn't love music like that as much anymore, but Worlds really made me rethink that, because i love it now, even if i don't listen to other music like it pretty much ever nowadays. but that might change. thanks for watching!! :)
Would also recommend listening to Worlds and Nurture live, the edits are very, VERY good
Watching this just makes me realize how much of a hairy mess it is to piece together Porter's whole discography. So many of his *best* songs are not even under his name at all. As other commenters mentioned, they're either collaborations, done under different aliases, not given production credits, or remixes of other peoples' songs. Hopefully someday someone can put together a "complete" discography up through SMILE! :D, because I know I personally have a ton of blindspots in my collection. I'm still discovering new tracks to this day, and realizing they're just as catchy as the rest of his work.
saw your post on Reddit!
@@COMAXETERNAL awesome!! happy you made it over here. thanks for watching!! <3333
I laughed so hard when you started talking about Cheerleader being possibly your favorite song ever!! I feel the same way!! Loved this video. Your reactions to most of the songs are similar or the same as mine. Subscribing!
@@caseyholt1822 thank you for watching, and thanks for subscribing! <333
I think you just MUST listen to the 2019 Live Worlds Set. Thats where I really think porter put his whole heart and soul into worlds and it was for the very last time. I think is is pretty cool as songs like Unison and the seconds got reworked to more Worlds-like versions and definitely deserve the reaction
Love to see the Jane remover representation!!
@@maxandcheese9239 yeah!!!! Jane's one of my favorite artists ever 🫶
love your reaction to sea of voices, def one of the most stunning works of his you dont need to make a video about it but i feel like youd enjoy Boxplot, he produces very soothing and calming tracks
@@prod3754 oh okay, thanks for the recommendation! and thanks for watching <3

love the frailty vinyl in the back

of course Maia announces a collab with Kero Kero Bonito a couple days after i upload this video, just my luck 🤦♂️🤦♂️
I like your vibe, you should finish up Porter's discography and then go on to Madeon!
no virtual self :( good video
@@lol_maikmy next video might make you happy, stay tuned! thanks for watching <3
1:28:35 pause?
damn, you got me 😔
Spitfire was my introduction to Porter. when he dropped Sea of voices i was like “This cannot be the same guy who made 100% in the Bitch!!”
I think you should listen to the live edits of the songs next
i'm actually going to see him live in about two weeks! i've heard the live edits and his live performances are great, so i'm really excited. thanks for watching!
Jane on a drill beat is so fire😂
im glad someone shares my hyperfixations with so much confidence

@@frombrenden you know you've made it when people make timestamp comments on your videos. 😭 wow, thanks for doing this, and thanks for watching!! <3
ofc thanks for reacting, you should check out underscores and 2hollis if you haven’t yet
@@frombrenden my next video is actually gonna include a reaction to underscores (kinda)! i love underscores, i've heard pretty much all her music. i've heard a couple 2hollis songs, but i need to hear more. might make a video on him actually. :)
thats awesome! the two albums i suggest to check out on a reaction video if u never listened before is hypochondriac by brakence and boy by 2hollis 🙏🏻
@@frombrenden hypochondriac is one of my favorite albums ever, it's a 10 imo and 2022 AOTY. thanks for the recommendation on the 2hollis album, i'll check it out! :D
I absolutely loved watching your reaction to Worlds. That album has meant so much to me in several points in my life…in college, in dark moments, in bright moments, across the world traveling…it’s not always a headspace that I’m emotionally prepared to enter, but when I am it’s transportive and euphoric. Seeing Worlds live at Hard Summer 2016 actually blew my mind and changed the course of my life. Thanks for letting me relive that first listen with you!! Loved the commentary, you picked up on so many things first listen that I didn’t understand for a long time. Great video
there aren't many things more beautiful than having a lengthy history with an album and it helping you so much over a big chunk of your life, and how a piece of art like that can do so much for a person. i definitely have some albums like that too in my life. thank you so much for watching!! <3
Hunnit percent in tha bitcXXX!!! I think I have that on my SoundCloud from like a decade ago😂 that song is such a vibe man
The face of horror speaks VOLUMES LOL

15:30 for the best reaction
REACT TO SPEED RUN BY FROST CHILDREN! as a porter super fan myself i actually discovered FC on my own through that album and met them in person twice! they’re incredible people who make incredible music which is some of my favorite outside of porters
Exeter in the back so based. Love Porter and Bladee ❤
Porter fans 🤝 Drainers
It's so cool watching someone connect with music. I would really like to see more future reviews of songs.
Maybe a Charlie xcx review 😅 but whatever is your taste would be interesting
@@CooketheGecko if i hadn't already heard BRAT, i definitely would've done a Charli xcx discography reaction. she's the talk of the town, the hottest artist right now. but i've already heard both BRAT and how i'm feeling now, so it would be kinda weird to do a discography reaction if you've already heard two of their albums. i might still do it anyway because it would get views regardless. i feel like the next best thing is Chappell Roan, and i'm planning on making a reaction video to her album sometime. thanks for watching!!! <3
The pause at the end LOL so relatable
i feel sad for the people who is discovering worlds now and not being able to watch a worlds live show. You know, im not from the US. Porter performing worlds outside the US was so rare so i had to go to SF for the LAST worlds show. i mean, i did everything i could to get the money and watch that show and dude, definitely was the best decision of my life. i went there with my best friend and was the trip of my life. Just watch old porter youtube videos doing like the tour recap and you can catch the vibe of that era, like a one man band doing everything in a live show, playing some zelda melodies live, the visuals which had like a HUGE craftmanship and so many talented people involved in the show from the lights, the audio and visuals, everything was outside of this world. Also, having "David Aguado" art in all Worlds singles, album and tour posters is just something beautiful. Thats why Worlds its so beautiful and i had to witness it with my eyes and ears, it was an album that blended a lot of talents and porter was amazing for curating each of the artists who gave worlds life. Porter shines but also the people he picked shined too. It was like a coop multiplayer game and funnily enough porter inspired worlds from a MMORPG game (starwars galaxies) so wow dude. i love new porter music but Worlds was something so complex, so well crafted and so deep and profound that makes me want to talk about it all day and makes me to dig deeper on his mind and his music production techniques like...its something that must be studied by scientists haha. Listen the singles, they are important into Porter's "lore" since "language" was his engine to move from spitfire into something more emotional. and please listen the last song he "released" called "Hollowheart". its heartwarming just like everything in worlds. Damn... im gonna keep my evangelize to new people with my lord Porter.
yeah, i know i would've LOVED Worlds if i heard it when i was younger, but i still love it now. thanks for watching, it's awesome to see people outside my home country watch my video, it's amazing! :D
@@itspointnotmark greetings from Chile my dude. You are awesome! 🫶🏼
fantano recently re-reviewed worlds btw
u shuld do the same thing with "NERO"
you need to listen to language immediately (hopefully I’m not the first person to say this)
If you liked what Worlds had to offer, I highly recommend checking out Worlds: The Movie It's a very well made fan recreation of Worlds Live, and I believe a lot of the live versions of the songs are the definitive versions There's other high quality official recordings of Worlds Live out there in 2024 if you want to opt for those, but I feel Worlds: The Movie is the most iconic version of Worlds Live. The live edit of Language is probably my favorite song of all time. And, as others have said, you absolutely should give Madeon a shot. Porter and Madeon both come from a similar musical background, are good friends, and have produced music together.
when you react to shelter it would be great to also watch the music video (which is basically a short film) because its reaaally tied up with the experience of that track; it was a journey watching your reaction, keep up the good work mate!
ahh gotcha, i will!
You remind me a bit of a more shy version of blustre (the "I'm not trying to be genrephobic" guy) in a good way
i love that guy, that's a huge compliment to me lmao. thanks for watching! <3
Just an unbelievable watch. Thank you for making it. Worlds is one of my favorite albums of all time and seeing the Worlds tour was a spiritual experience. You hit the nail on the head that hearing most of these songs live was just another level.
no, thank you for watching it!! the support on this video has been beyond my wildest expectations. it's been unreal. 🤝
