Living in Europe for years now. This video makes me sadly nostalgic for those countless late nights in Texas dancehalls: Gruene, Luckenbach, the Spoke. Dancing and listening to Gary P. and countless other priceless artists. Wish I could go back again.

Great entertainer and song writer and Texas proud Gary P. Nunn can't hardly believe he has never been on the Opry until now.

Shows how bad the Grand ole Opry is, when it took this long to get Gary P. Nunn on the stage.

I've been to the Opry one time and I was lucky enough for it to be this night. As a Texan, I got chill bumps when Gary P. Nunn was introduced that night. I couldn't believe he has never been on the Opry before. Don't know why it took so long, but I get those same chill bumps when I watch this. God Bless Gary P. Nunn and all of the great Texas Music artists we have lost this year.

Gary P. Man it makes me proud to see this. Been listening to them since the first time I saw them in post Tx as a kiddo. Love the band and so proud to see them on stage at the opry.

Ameripolitan Awards! This was an informal pick-up jam session late at night at Ameripolitan Awards 2020, happening at the hotel while most of the event's attendeds were still at official shows happening elsewhere. This was such a special appearance when James Hand joined the jam.

Use to make to the Teardrop Tavern, most Dallasites never heard of the venue!

I've been listening to Gary P. Nunn since 1965-66 & his days with The Sparkles in Lubbock. Took awhile to get from The Music Box to The Opry! A fan for life.
