Murmuration of hundreds birds at Bosque del Apache NM

It’s a mesmerizing sight: hundreds of birds move in unison, whirling and swooping as if performing a highly synchronized ballet. Murmurations of black birds & starlings are quite common here at Bosque del Apache. Caught this one on my cell phone video yesterday - watch with sound on at full screen and you may get a rush! Krisztina -- Excellent job capturing the unique wonders of a stay at Selva Verde Lodge. I spent 4 days there in 2015 and still consider it to be one of my favorite birding experiences. Thank you for triggering fond memories!

They are Nazca Boobies :-). Related to the the Northern Gannets.
