1937 Chevrolet Master Deluxe, first drive since 1975
Took the 37 out for it's first test drive today! Did about 4 miles around my neighborhood and it drove great!

My 1949 Chevy. I've owned this car a couple years now, sat un-used in a barn for over 30 years. Engine was easy to get running, then I did all new brakes (disc front), suspension, ignition system, fuel system, water pump, rebuilt the carb, and a handful of other things around the car. Drove it many miles since then during the summers and has been a fun cruiser ever since.

Got this car a few months ago and tinkered with it a bit until other projects got on the way. Was finally able to get it back into my shop with the help of a few friends and get it fired up and running good after sitting for 40 years! I like those door panels did u make them
The Chevy stove bolt 6. They were up against the 49 Ford which crucified them. You got to hand it to Ford Management at the time. Chevy just wasn't up to speed that year. Still a beautiful car.

Studebaker should have continued the roof profile, snd saved on all new rear door looks on the 64-66. Those had a roofline that was too high. Also, the 62-63 taillights were also better because of visability. In 64-65 the taillights were cut in half and were somewhat dangerous because they were not clearly visible. The 66's were even worse. Those were halfed again with air vents where the taillights used to be. Very dangerous, I know, I was rear ended because the taillights couldn't be seen.
The ultimate poor man's Mercedes!
The rear styling seems inspired by the current Ford Galaxie. This has to be the best of the Lark nest.
No it's a base model like a Regal, or Standard. Top models would be a Daytona, or Cruiser in the LARK series.
