I wish I could drive one once more before I die
gorgeous!
Those Beetles which haven't been modified/ruined by kids are precious - especially *this* one.
Green with envy here. I had three of those back in the day. A great car for a university student back then.
The best care ever,1974 beetle ,yes it was noisy but so reliable and a lot of fun !
Slow, stinky, dangerous, uncomfortable but they worked and good off road for a car.
The "noise" actually sounded good, as opposed to the moaning sounds of a typical inline-4.
The process of making these cars is the same as in Germany. I know I visited the factory!
$$$$
Whi was operating a bug in 1982 and why were they doing it. V W replaced the bug rith Rabbit in 1974. Bug too far out of date to be useful and legal in USA
I have driven Beatles rented one in Mainin 1973. Drive a 1968 Toyota Corona for a while in 1978. Bug nasty dangerous driving charastics . Nobody should have been driving a new one in 1982.
Sorry is the turbocharger still factory stock? Purists might scream but there's nothing romantic and nostalgic about an old school 30+ year old plain bearing turbine. Particularly when a modern replacement will simply bolt up and make more responsive power at the same boost pressure 😊
@@guillaumesandmayer7053 the turbo is upgraded and has a blow off valve. The car is tuned to 285 hp and 300 ft/lbs of torque - she is a blast to drive!
Great to see a Spyder in everyday driving! An observation here for anyone looking to get a car with an automated manual transmission let it be e-gear, dct, sportshift, f1 etc. Never leave the car in gear when stopped, for example at traffic lights or in stop and go. These are not automatic transmissions and sitting in 1st (or in gear) with the foot on the brake will burn the clutch out sooner. Treat them like a manual transmission.. a good video on this topic is on VinWiki, the R8 with the damaged clutch.
When cars were built well and simple
I remember going down to Mexico on business in the early 2000’s and going into the Volkswagen dealer in Monterrey, NL. Brand new Beetles were just over $4,000 US. With electric A/C.
Salut my friend super car super video subscribe subscribe 😁😁
I had a 66. Loved it.
Lancia Delta Integrale 8 and 16V Turbo, THE QUEEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Twin Cams Lampredi Engine!!!!! Electronic Control "Magneti Marelli!!!" 10 World Titles, 6 factory, 4 Pilots, RECORD STILL UNBEATEN TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Come On Italy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 💪🏻💚💪🏻🤍💪🏻❤️💪🏻
Der gallardo spyder ist und bleibt der beste
😮 wow!
1991...You were hanging in Clyde...
DR DRE!!!!!!! What's up brother?!?!?!!
How reliable are the clutches?
It is rather hard to preserve a clutch that you can't control yourself. 30,000 miles out of the clutch is considered good.
Beautiful car! ❤ my 73 Berlina 2000 is the same color
1970 Baja bug owner here. Thats a nice car.

Thanks for the upload. Mine just had paint after a long full restoration. Get to see what I've been missing for the last 14 years.
I much prefer the 1960s dash. They ruined it with that horrible black plastic
Clearly done in an effort to save on metal. Though you are correct, the classic dash was so much nicer.
I would have loved to have this car
A VW Mexico Beetle, build in 1983 in Puebla, has a motor hatch without extra cooling stripes/holes. The steering wheel has a big center plate for the accustic warning signal; this steering wheel is from a Golf 1. And where is the red warning light for the break fluid on the right side nearby the central speed Instrument?
Wow! What a find
Wow..

When Toyota built the Toyota Classic they deferentially raided the 1996 Toyota Hilux parts bin because l own a 1997 Toyota Hilux and the dash board is the same apart from the wood finish the door handles the chassis and the only thing missing is the 22R engine which Japan never got but fortunately they made it to Australia
Oh that is sweet… how much did it sell for ?

love this car
Never have I seen someone riding in a Lamborghini looking so bored. Obnoxious gum chewing and irresponsible driving. Please buy a Volvo. You don’t grace our brand.
Leider ist sehr langsam.
Meine Alte jalpa.ich hätte viel spaß mit dem ding.
Жук это „любовь до гроба"....ээ!
Just came across your video. How did you find this auto? Is it still available?
Hello - unfortunately it is sold/. We found it through a collector we know
those cars are still beautiful to own
Why would it need a "tuneup"?
I was expected to impress me but no. The sound from the exhaust is simple. Generally i like sounds from a 5 cylinder engine and up, but this here no.
Dall'Italia hai fatto un buon acquisto!😎😎
