@tommykentner I love seeing the internals and judging the issues before it's opened up. Based on mileage and upgrades you'd think the cyl walls would be a disaster. But they still had cross hatching?? I need to upgrade my tubski.

@Gunma_garage no problem I figured it would be good to show a high mileage engine with bolt on and show if it did right and maintenance the ej with go the distance. And yeah a bigger turbo always add more fun! 👊😎

@tommykentner Yeah they can last a good while! Not many people check their oil and blame Subaru lol. Mines at 206k and all stock for now. Found it from an older couple and they said it needed alot of work. Turns out the exhaust had a few rotted flanges and I found some rust on the strut towers. Now it's been my fav wagon I've owned after two others I shouldn't have sold lol. I'll have to check out more of your vids

@Gunma_garage you hit on the head 99.5 of them we rebuild don’t have any oil in them. And it always to find a little fix upper. I appreciate you checking out the channel we got a lot more Subaru stuff coming.

We know that all was the same age and only one of them opened up like that. So it was just a little weird.

That was just the light on the tool. But it isn’t a bad idea to use hand tool on that because those studs like to break.
