That's a myth. Ran motul 8100 for 180k miles and my cams were worn out and I was told needed to be done. Very loud. Ran a high zddp amsoil zrod and noise went away and now I got 308k miles on my 3.6R Motul 300V is great for subaru engines. Idemitsu racing oil is the OEM oil and that has 1200ppm zinc & phosphorous

@anonymoose0913 we just got the best results out of amsoil we use Motul to but we have a few 300k plus Subaru with amsoil.

@PolishAlexx We don’t recommend the zrod for Subaru We recommend 10w40 Premium and we have many turbo Subaru 300k plus make over 300whp. Motul is a good option to we just had best results out of amsoil.

We used all the items from a RHD manual Supra. The driveshaft we had to use half of the Supra driveshaft and half of the Soarer driveshaft (I don’t recall which piece for front and rear). OEM Toyota transmission mount bracket from the Supra. OEM bell housing that came on the Supra as well.
