The answer is very subjective. You'll get the sound with the slip-on, and you can always get an aftermarket tuner that will give you most of the extra power. There's very little extra power to gain by getting the full system (as opposed to slip-on, and you still need an aftermarket tuner to maximize it), but there is a difference if that matters to you. But then you can get ceramic coated pipes that add to the look and run cooler, so maybe that's important enough to you, and buying the full kit you at least get a map key that adds 5 hp and makes the engine run smoother. It's really just about how much you want vs. how much you're willing to spend.

@@mistrchris thank you so much to be honest I really don't care about the power so much I think the bike has enough power but loving the look with the full exhaust but I'm loving the idea of the slip on then later adding the other parts is a little cheaper that way thanks for the tips I really appreciate it Ducati accessories are so expensive 🤦🏿‍♂️🤦🏿‍♂️🤦🏿‍♂️😂😂.

Lara Robinson technically, no. But you'd benefit greatly from a tuner. Easily one of the best mods for the Diavel. Makes the engine much smoother and adds 15-20 hp. Look into OpenFlash or Tuneboy.

With "Termi slip on" tuning is not necesarry. Only in "full" Termi without cat. converter, but that set contain a special "up map key" which You must plug into special conector under the seat.

Do you still have the bike? If so have you had any problems with it. One of my co-workers have one and is selling very cheap because he is moving to Spain in a few months and i am thinking about buying it.

@@buckwild81 Sorry, I know it's too late but I didn't see this until now. The only issue I ever had was the fuel sensor in the gas tank went bad when the bike sat for a long time (while I was deployed). Did you buy it?

M3DucatiMan , I'm not sure it's worth the extra $500 just for the ceramic coating, but the standard system was well worth the money to me! Between ceramic and non, the pipes will just look different and not run quite as hot. If the looks are worth $500, have at it! The biggest difference between stock exhaust and this system comes from the ECU upmap that comes with it. The stock fuel map is very lean, but the Termi race map fixes that. You may notice a slight increase in power (~5hp), and there's definitely an improvement in throttle response, but the biggest difference you'll notice is how smoothly the engine runs, and how much better it sounds. A few weeks ago on my way to work, pulling away from a stop light, an old man, probably 85 years old, gave me a big thumbs-up on my way by, haha. Envy our climate, but don't envy the road conditions, the traffic, the government, the cost of living, the drought... I'll miss riding year-round (and being able to split lanes), but I'm anxious to get out of here!

Chris Amen about splitting lanes. I used to be able to do that when I was in Japan on business for several years. Now in CT/NY, people cry if anyone does it. Thanks for the pointers. I think I will pull the trigger on the termis.

M3DucatiMan Hopefully the lane-splitting movement takes off. I know there are people in Oregon trying to get it legalized there. With a little luck they'll approve it and a nationwide movement will follow. You won't regret it... enjoy!
