hey man, been watching since the first episode popped on my feed, good luck on the grind! Don't know if you take advice or nah (if not you can disregard the rest of the comment it's really just me backsitting and yapping) but players in silver are VERY unlikely to dash cancel ed's held fierce (the big traveling punch thing, psycho knuckle), so in most cases you should be able to safely drive impact it for a free punish. Also, try to be more patient on wake-ups, seen you go for DPs, throw techs and DIs a lot in some matches when you loose patience (the latter of which you should NEVER do on wake-up unless reacting to a DI the opponent throws out while you're on the ground, because aside from that the only way for you not to eat a fat punish by doing this would be for the opponent to throw out something so stupid you really shouldn't expect them to). These kind of options on wake-up should only ever be used as reads to counterplay the opponent when you're absolutely certain it's gonna work (example: the opponent's drive-rushing to get some pressure on, sometimes it's bait but it's usually a good idea to DP there since most people are gonna try and capitalize on the drive gauge they used to rush), not a default option even when panicking. Now, panicking every now and then is normal but in these scenarios get into the habit of throwing out a jab or whatever your fastest move is (for juri I believe it's standing light punch? could be wrong tho I don't play her), it's the least commital thing you can do and what's the least likely to get you countered or punished. But then again, ONLY when you don't know what to do and wanna throw out something to interrupt the opponent's pressure when you're waking up, if you can help it just block. Doesn't matter if they threaten you with a throw or a throw loop or whatever, it's never gonna hurt as much as taking a full ass combo and they can't make you block forever Also, careful about your jump-ins, jumping is a tool to be used but overdoing it can make you predictable in your movements, even divekicks will end up being punished and anti-aired by more and more people as you rank up higher and higher. Spacing's a very tough a long thing to really get down, especially because it involves a lot of character knowledge, but try to space yourself just slightly out of range of the opponent, or at your own max range, and poke. By threatening pokes you can try and slowly inch your way in and back the opponent to the wall (then again, depends on the opponent, even in diamond you'll find absolute animals who won't respect your pressure and just mash shit out). Juri's crouching medium kick into drive rush cancel is also an incredible tool, and you're actually using it which is great keep that up! try and get consistent on punishing ennemy pokes with that, jump less often to do that instead and you'll be a menace Other than that man you're actually pretty solid I can see some good stuff, and you're actually playing the game which is more than I can say about most golds and a big portion of plats and low diamonds, no clue how the game ended up placing you in silver with the degenerates that are supposedly ranked higher Tried to make my yapping as readable as I could, lemme know if there's anything needs clarifying or even if my writing's just ass
