Amiga Protracker song made for Chip Chop 17 by Desire. Originally based on Jeff's C64-song Hard-Track, but you can't hear much of it anymore. (Great song though, check it out!)

Hi, first of all thank you for this gem. 2 questions if you can help me: 1) why, if the SID chip can handle 5 voices, don't you see 6 in the Messiah software? 2) but are 80's soundtracks like Pacman etc made this way? with these software or by programming by hand in basic for commodore? thanks again
The SID-chip in the C64 has 3 voices. And 80's soundtracks on the C64 were often made in assembly language or machine code. Programs with graphical interfaces (usually trackers) were not common until the end of the 1980's.
@@goto80 thank so much... and super mario? via software?
@@RenatoCaruso i don't know, but my guess is that nintendo didn't have any dedicated music software at the time.
is this new goto or upload of older music? also didnt know other countries had lingo lol
it was released along with my newest album (see my bandcamp), but the audio is not available there since it's more like a video than a song...

An instant favourite
Laying down the funk on this one, quality track! I will say I do miss the days a GOTO80 song would randomly scare the hell out of you, but it's much more musical and enjoyable overall now.
you can never be too sure... :D
@@goto80 oh no way! I've been listening to you since I first came across Fantasy in highschool. When we were tripping balls I'd often put you on and people would be terrified of the next audio assault to appear from the grooves! Much love man, keep being as creative as you've ever been.
The digital demigod has returned!
