It's fun and the story doesn't take itself too seriously. Very chill and silly.

Dunk the whole thing super quick, then pull it out after about a second. If you put it in slow, the tip will quench before the rest.

Yea I think there was an advanced alloy book that walks you through it. Then I learned you can just mine the alloy ores and I never had to do it again.

I think you might be able to do it elsewhere. This was easiest for me with the upgrades I had. Because the boss stage has no swarms, only elites, I found it easier to waste time walking around.

I learned this from an Angory Tom video. I was so mad to learn there was an easier way, but glad I beat it regardless.

I have, I made some of my ARML matches, but it's very different from recording an episode and editing in ShotCut. The perspective is vertical, the time is a minute max. It's definitely a worthwhile venture but I haven't figured out how to do it yet.

@@DoraGaming42 Worth noting that shorts are now 3 minutes max, but I think keeping it to about a minute is going to be the best and trimming it down to only include your most relevant decisions and moments. For the vertical perspective, keeping an extra layer with a closeup of the hand works. I use it for my shorts, and Yusong does something similar. And if you have a facecam or some other visual besides mahjong, you can plant that at the bottom with the mahjong at the top. I use Davinci Resolve so I can't help you with ShotCut specifics, but I hope that helps.

Yep, one of my channel goals is to teach people mahjong so I alternate the content every other week. Bring them in with gaming, then switch it out and make them learn 😈

Good advice, but I still get itchy for the riichi. I'll try to be more patient.

@@DoraGaming42 that's one thing I noticed from higher level players is they win on damaten hands much more than at lower ranks, and riichi just doesn't work as well as people fold around it much more effectively so you really end up just praying on tsumo if you riichi and often just deal in yourself instead. With 7 pairs it feels like riichi is almost never worth it unless you're desperate for value though since the wait is bad and if other players get spooked by the riichi it's nearly impossible to get them to drop what you want

I started with South rounds but I couldn't stand everyone playing super close the entire game, just to have a 1/4 chance to be the guy who tsumos a haneman to win in all last. East round is still luck of the draw, but at least it's quick. Plus, aggressive players work to my advantage >:3

Great tips, I'll look into all of that! No one's mentioned screen size before, I can see how that would be an issue. I love the music too, but maybe a bit too much, lol. I'd love to make more shapes,I just want to have a goal or something to focus the video more, make it less rambling.

​@@DoraGaming42 A couple of thoughts... As for focus for the next ep...., as the game suggests: focus on the Milestones first, then on the rest. Perhaps test a few of the settings beforehand. What are, Relaxed, Normal, Challenge and Custom doing for the game. Very cool QoL feature, you can exit your save, change that setting, come back in either a harder game, or an easier game. Still good btw, no matter what anyone thinks. You 'play the game' your way.... ;-) I've seen a few Let's Plays on this and you do have a certain 'flair' with how you play. That is something you can't learn someone I think. Also, you have a Mahjong mind, not many people can say that right? You prob see, I can type on and on LOL, so I will quit now. Leave it up to you, the what, where and how... ;-) Either below here, but hopefully under the next ep, more thoughts... Cheers! Jake. ;-)

I really wanted to but I was up against the clock on this one. I picked up some OT on the weekend and just ran out of time. Hopefully you still enjoyed and I don't mind if you skip through to the good parts.

I swear I had an infinite pour once but I don't know what caused it. Without seeing how much is in the bucket with each pour, we may never know. The splashes also cover the numbers so I take no blame for missing lol.

@@DoraGaming42 when u are pouring on the mold it doesn't take more than what is needed. if u pour anywhere off the mold u then waste the smelted ore.

Rip, multi sourcing is hard work. I think you need to start using potions to get over that 83%, which seems weird but w/e. I didn't make the game.

@@DoraGaming42 yeah, that is the case. Seems strange that it is that way, must be how the game calculates the final price.

Glad you found success! I'm still on that grind. My friend's list on mahjsoul is pretty competitive still so I can't sleep on it, lol.

Exactly, gold cards are a must, especially yakuman master. 13 sided wait 13 orphans is my current strat but it can be risky if a specific terminal is not in the wall. That's RNG though, and as mahjong players we're well used to that feeling. Oh well, better luck next run...
