Ljep pogodak , čestitke Barrel made by K.P.??
Hvala puno. Tako je da, Klemen je cijev napravio…
It's a very strange magnification. Can you shoot with two eyes open at 0.75 magnification?
It really is. What I actually found out with this scope compared to 1-6 or 1-8 that this one has a true 1x magnification which is slightly below 1 and you can truly shoot with both eyes open. Exactly like with a red dot…
How much is it? Cant find pricing on the manufacturers webpage
It will be the best to write them an email.
crazy hunt
Hi Tomas, Really like this new stock, can you adjust lengths of pull , with spacers or other ?? Kind regards from Portugal 🇵🇹
Hi. At the moment no. You can order it with the desired length of pull. Maybe they will invent something similar in the future…
Hi, this stock will soon be available apart from desired lenght of pull, also with 5mm and 10mm spacers for butt plate.
@ great 💪
Hi Can I put a match blaster barrel in the stock channel ?? 22mm Is the carbon and Kevlar a good option for this stock ? Have seen this in some company’s now Regards
@@rvargues yes any barrel contour is possible
A well-crafted and beautiful explanation from an experienced hunter and shooter, thank you.
Thanks.
Brilliant video 👍
Thanks 👍
Nice. What bullet seater are u using?
It is the standard Hornady seating die, but it is much easier with a match adjustable die.
You are talking about 50 and 60 years old systems. These attaches can have a screw to the side that prevents lateral movement. You owe it to yourself to get better informed. ALL rifles in the U.S. use this type of detachable sling mount except...that there is a side knob to prevent any movement that could compromise the sling. You're bringing up a non - issue. Sorry to disappoint you. Look up the mounts online instead of criticizing a design older than yourself and that is decades old on your rifle.
I am really sorry, but you obviously don’t understand the issue at all… This is new from the store. When you buy this sling from Blaser you get this attachments. And you can not change them. It is part of the sling. So if it is 50-60 years old as you say than it is Blaser to be blamed 🤷🏻♂️
Had to use paint stripper for the paint also did you notice paint on the recoil lug recess
Yes. Unfortunately I forgot to mention that in the video 😵💫
Can't get the paint off with paint thinner
If it is the paint thinner for acrylic colors then it won’t work… It needs to be nitro based…
Good video bruh ..😊
Thanks ✌
What bipod is this?
It is the Tier-One Evolution bipod.
The shot at 6:43 is too reckless. The dog was almost in line.
On the camera it looks much worse, but I agree it was a bit dangerous 😅
Does this also apply to the HMR B-14 Wilderness Carbon 7mm prc rifle, same issues?
The stock is the same yes. So same issues…
Don't you have to zero the rifle first or is it just assuming that the triangle on the BTF is the zero no matter what? Good video. Thanks
Hi. Sorry for my late reply. Yes first you have to zero the rifle. And then you start with the triangle set to zero.
😍😍
Is it ok for me to use some lock tight on the chassis screws ?
It is. But the one that can be easily unscrewed if needed like Loctite 243 for example…
@@TomasHunting oh yes that’s right, thanks alot
I would use an expanding mandrel after !
That is definitely the best way to go yes.

You are the ONLY video I've found detailing this. Thanks! I about had a stroke of stress and anxiety mounting my rail. A few questions: 1. I ordered the Salmon River Solutions 20moa rail, which only came with one 3mm recoil pin. Is the one recoil pin with the four 6-48 screws enough for a 30-06 rifle? 2. I've been hearing concerns on forums that the front most screw protrudes into the action and causes bolt close/feeding issues. I haven't shot my rifle yet, but I seem to be able to open and close the bolt fine without issue... but when I stick a flashlight down the action I can DEFINITELY see that front screw is the only one slightly protruding into the action. Is this normal? 3. Do you bed your scope base when using dissimilar materials? I just dabbed blue locktite on a q-tip and finely coated the underside of my rail and top surface of the receiver to act as a barrier between the SS receiver and 7075 anodized AL rail. I degreased everything using 100% acetone before applying the blue locktite as a "contact surface" agent and also used blue locktite on the screws and torqued to 15-18 in-lbs. I liked and subscribed, this video is great! Thanks!
I am pretty sure that this will be more than enough yes. Salmon River Solution makes some really solid stuff. Check that it is not the plastic screw that is protruding out of the action? Yeah I did it the same with loctite and it works great. Anyway I am not a gunsmith so maybe an expert gunsmith would have a better solution… I will try to ask someone about this…
Why in the world do you have the factory expander mandrel still installed in that die? Poor brass... this is too painful to watch, especially combined with a high end press.
Well if you checked the entire video you would see that I took out…
Very informative. It loois like you can put the turret on any swarovski scope? Z3, 5, and 6?
No. Unfortunately this turret is only for the Z8 model. The other models need to be sent to Swarovski and they can upgrade the scope with a turret.
@@TomasHunting , how about if you have a Z5 with BT and want to remove the BT and have a regular turret cover cap? Do you have to send it back to have it done?
@@pineknot9695 unfortunately yes 😅

It looks delicious 🤤😋
It really was delicious 😊
You didn’t mention leaving the bushing slightly loose so that it self-centers. Tighten down on the bushing and then back off 1/8 turn. You should hear the bushing rattle when you shake the die. Helps keep the neck concentric with the case body.
Yes that is true. Thanks for your comment.
I went with the Murphy Precision Titanium Picatinny rail on my T3x 7mm Rem Mag, the Murphy Precision pic rail for the T3x utilizes all 5x 6-46 screws, 2x 3mm dowel pins plus the large 6mm recoil pin.
That sounds like a bomb proof combo 😅 Anyway also 4 screws and 2 pins should be more than enough for a heavy recoiling caliber and a heavy tactical/target scope. But I absolutely agree that more is always better 😉
@@TomasHunting Yeah, your set up looks solid too. Nice choice. Happy shooting!
@@jpkla5663 thanks. Wish you the same 😉
Were the pins that come with the Murphy loose, or did they need to be hammered in like in the video? This is important, because if they are loose, they don’t provide any extra strength unless bedded with epoxy. If they needed to be hammered in like in the video, that is a tight fit that results in the strongest joint. This way the pins take all the shear force in recoil, and the screws only clamp down. The reason I ask, is because I almost bought the Murphy mount, but the description says the pins are loose (they sell the bedding kit with the mount for $15 extra).
What was the stuff he used to remove the paint from the aluminum?
Color diluent that you can buy in stores that sell colors…
@@TomasHunting Does nail polish remover (acetone) work the same? How about normal paint thinner? Lacquer Thinner?
@@brokenrevisited I used paint thinner, but I am pretty sure that acetone will work 😉
