      @@JesperKoob-jb8rb Considering the winds it was just an alright landing we had around 30/35 knots of crosswinds and gusts which were blowing us off course the entire time but thanks man😄

      @@user-pp1qg8vx3z this one is not a fpm add on but instead it’s a stream overlay so I can’t actually see it but only the stream it is Flylive studio

    Try to touchdown as close to vref as possible. That’s how you know you’re on speed. Typically we’ll leave the speed bug 5kts faster than vref & bleed off that 5 knots in the flare touching down at vref

    Autopilots don't float them. They are designed for a firm landing.

      @@WindyAviation I never said smooth landings were better or safer. Firm landings are actually always safer. However if the weather is good, and you have little or no wind, it's safe to show off for the passengers, and most pilots do! I was saying both landings were too soft to be autoland, that's all. Autoland is not typically comfortable for passengers and is usually only used when weather conditions require it. Also, you want to try to land at the 1000 foot marker, and both were almost at 2000 feet. You did great, though. Saying you floated it was a little too harsh, as you were in the touchdown zone.

    Autopilot. Never try to push landing smooth, the passengers aren't going to care about the extra 20 fpm you cut off with a 10 second float time touching down 500 feet from the marker.
