I've been experimenting with the Tokyo Rig too... think Free Rig/Tokyo Rig.... 2 beads 4mm , One #7 Crane Swivel (my preference) ... step 1.. open the eye of the hook and put your swivel on and close the hook eye..... Step 2... 18" - 24" of 20 - 30 lb. test Florocarbon and tie on to Swivel... Step 3.. . Slide on a bead... Step 4 .... Slide on a 3"-4" long wire ... ( I use round bend pliers to make my loop so as not to Mar the inside of the loop which is critical because this wire is going to be sliding on your leader ) Step 5... Slide on a bead ... Step 6... Attach your leader to the main line... ( I use braid as my main line ) Step 7.. Attach the Size Weight you want to the wire... YOU ARE DONE... This Rig Allows the fish to eat the bait without having the weight in his/her face... I have been having great success with this style ... 👌 Here's my edit.. I forgot to mention that this Rig does away with the split ring which is a weak point.. I have lost Fish because the Split Ring broke on the hook set... Just thought I'd share with everyone.. You could hear the second the line was under the spool. If you didn't crank the handle 15 times after the line was under the spool, it would have pulled out really easily.

Put a small crimp right below the top and then the bead it looks better and makes mad noise

It's not the reel. It's the line. Had this issue with a previous reel and thought the same thing. Asked the guy at field and stream and he told me to soak the reel with the line on it in hot water to form the line to reel. Did it, and worked perfectly ever sense. The line had memory from the spool when I bought it. Just need to remold it to the smaller reel cylinder.

Heres another little tip for you. If you want to build one that makes a little more noise, take two 1/4 ounce bullet type weights and point one nose up and one nose down and put 2 glass beads in between the 2 weights. I will even go up to two 1/2 ounce weights if I am punching grass mattes.

Had same issue with my Creed k 1000. No help from 13 Fishing. Took flat washer off from underneath bearing stack. Works fine now👍👍

What a cry baby lol i have a couple of them no problems and have over 500 hrs on them tourny fishing what do you expect anyways for a spinner for under 60 bucks dicks sporting goods. I paired my LTE's on those neon green 13 Fate Black Rods great bang for the buck for what $120 Rod and Reel cant beat that. I like the set up so much I also bought 2 13 Origin LTE baitcaster reels with the same neon green 13 Fate Black casting rods. I have plenty hi-end rod and reels that I love but you cant beat the price what good rod and reels for about 120 bucks! So I use em hard and put em away wet! Plus that kind of price I wont have to tie no lure knots no more Il just buy 15 of these set ups and have a different lure ready to rock on each one lol. Oh another cheap 13 reel I like is Origin FB mat black baitcaster just bought a combo with neon green 13 Fate Black rod on sale $120 like it smooth reel! Lots of guys dont know these baitcast reels have a magnetic brake adjustment cause its internal have to take off the side and there it is! I read lots of reviews of guys complaining of them not having to adjustment and thought that was funny. Get to know your equipment

Never had that problem, but now the bale won't close on it's own, I have to manually close it. Not a big deal but I'm so accustomed to not having to do that.
