The PvE today is easy compared to what it was in the first 1 year of the game, today you don't need 5* units to go through the PvE at all, there are so many 3* and 4* units that you can do any PvE content with them without any problem. Of course, PvE focused 5* does make the game easier, since you'll build one and use him on 3 different contents but they aren't needed anymore, nowadays some players even question their necessity. Every PvE content must be done in it's right time, for exemple when you said about the 3rd episode being a little "Funky"... No, the episode 3 ain't hard at all... Unless you do W13 and immediately try to go for ep3, that is a content that you can easily go through after you've completed the Raid. The 4th episode is a bit hard, but I'd say it's more knowledge difficulty than gear/unit difficulty. The only PvE contents that you're gonna need GOOD gear with specific 5* units are the Rift and the Advent, both contents designed to Mid/Late game players (8+ months accounts) Sadly, The PvP is indeed going to be hard for new players, having the Gear and the Units for it (especially the ML ones) can be quite challenging. But for that matter we can't forget that Epic Seven was designed (still is and will continue) to be a a Long Term Farming game, a game where you farm alot, spend a lot of time gathering resources to upgrade and build new units, and new players aren't the only ones who do that, even the players with 5 years of account still farm on farming events, still do PvE contents for resources and still try to get Book-Marks to get the new units. Sadly, this is a game stile that doesn't draw much attention, starting from the fact that it's a Turn Based game, then you add the Gacha sistem, + the constant grinding, all these 3 are stuff that people usually don't like in games and is a style that a small amount of gamers enjoy. But, i do believe that the game needs to give some help to new players, the developers usually give a lot of advantages to beginners, which is good, but i feel like they're aiming for the wrong direction, they are giving gear, arena points and stuff... But all resources that we can farm for. I believe they should give resources that new players lost and WON'T be able the get them back, like the artifact imprint potion and the unit imprint thing you get in Arena (sorry, I don't know their names in english), these would actually be really helpful. I never watched tutorials back when i was a beginner, and based on my experience, the hardest part is the gear system, theres no transparency at all, I was like blue gears must be gud, looking better than the usual green gears. tf are sets, main stats on left and right side gear, whats a good roll, sometimes my lidica wouldnt decrease CR like why? Multipliers are also hidden Rn, other than that, i think its fine. Adventurer's path is good (back then theres not even). Efficiency and minmaxing though is a different matter. edit: also i wasted my free ml into a ruele. havent used her ever from the start lol. And my usual dps is like pre sc carmainrose, then dizzy, and then charlotte as my first proper dps. With achates as my sw.

People forget to accept the fact that you cannot be super competitive in a 6 year old game within like 1 year unless you take shortcuts which requires money, but if you play the game for fun and just go at your own pace you can start today and have fun and be somewhat competitive atleast not in rta without realizing it.

QoL for new players is way better now than during the first 2 years of the game. It's easier to get free gears and ML units. New players need to accept that this game is a very grind extensive game. If you're not up for that then its better to play a different game. Don't expect to finish all PVE content, get god gear and most ML units in 6 months. Having the right unit in abyss and labyrinth makes it easier but you can still use other units. My advise is to focus on W13 and prioritize PVE units for 6 months. Focus on speed gears. Build Tama, S.Tenebria, FS Tieria or C. Lorina for abyss, main story and labyrinth. Free gears typically roll bad but you'll get better gears as long as you craft everyday.

Is is the best time to play Blue Archive?

Grind in 2024 is abysmal for new players. You get the free dps gears and rolls everything into heath% and eff% no CC rolls means very slow progress. I always quit 1 week in. Always get bad rolls from the free gear and 0 way to get charms. I always feel that I don't want to comeback but I still try, then get disappointment everytime and wishing I could take the time back spent playing the game again. I wish I can play the game and get into RTA with good characters. :(

i think they should give new players more rewards to catch up. i couldn't even get to events on time because of that. I really don't like getting characters i don't like and it feels worse to waste resources on it

Please don't waste ur skystones in shop refresh it's world biggest scam I wasted 500 skystones on shop refresh to get mystic medals and ended up getting nothing I don't know weather I have worst luck or its biggest scam and yes I didn't get even a single mystic medal

Refreshing shop will yield more covenant bookmarks on average than buying them with skystone, worst case scenario you go 1:1, like you said in the video. I have had 11 bookmarks(+some mystic in same shop) in a row but I've also gone through 150 skystone with no bookmarks/mystics. But over large quantities you will always win if you refresh the shop, the "downside" is that you are investing gold instead to get them but there's infinite gold farm guides out there, the most common one being unrecorded history, pairing it with AP/friendship farm.

I can get thousands mystic daily from shop by using bots. Just need prepare gold and skystone only.

refreshing the shop is better even if u dont want mystics, if ur spending 500+ ur gonna get more than 25 covenants

The 0.66% is per slot, not per re-roll of all 6 slots. Each 3 skystone re-roll = six chances @ 0.66% each, not one.
