When pump 1 is bypassed, new pumps curve "H2+H3" should change, because it's not be the same as "H1+H2+H3". The same should happen when pump 2 is bypassed. Why are you using the same curve in all cases?

When defining my first stream I have an error of unknown flow rate displayed. Shouldn't my molar flow prevent this from happening if I already have my fluid properties defined?

I solved the friction factor on my pocket Casio fx-115ms scientific calculator, and it returned F=0.2635076713. Not bad for a shirt pocket scientific calculator!

There is a real difference between PSV and PRV based on how they operate, and although a PRV is a type of safety valve (PSV) it should be not be confused with a standard PSV. PRV open based on proportional pressure that they are exposed to, once above the set pressure. This is why they are used mainly for hydraulic systems (limited stored energy). While PSV simply dumps all the pressure once it isexposed the its set pressure, and for this reason it is mainly used for gas (high stored energy).

i cannot type the B on my excel. I tried different alternatives already but i guess its because of the LOG.
If the cells you are picking are not highlighting in different colors make sure there is a multiplication between the -2 and the LOG. (guess this is more for other people with the same problem since the comment is a year old)

Perfect explanation. Great work. Just one point, I believe it should be 1.25E-04 / year as filter failure was kept as frequency of 0.05 / year while multiplying with the rest of the probabilities.
Thanks for your words, Patel! We have kept it as 1.25 E-04 in a year, when you hear the voice-recording you can get it. We meant that in one year the probability of this happening is 1.25 E-04. Good point, thanks for your comment!

another difference between prv and psv is that, prv operates normally by controlling the system, whereas once the psv is operated, the device should be taken out of system and then needs to be sent to the maintenance warehouse to for calibration purposes
