How is this financially valid? Are you aware just how bad a generator solar pv is, your 500 kilowatt will produce on average 55 kilowatts. It is disruptive to the grid and is not beneficial. I wish someone would tell Mr Milliband this, he's clueless. Finally it will do absolutely nothing for the climate, CO2 does not drive our climate at the moment. You are being massively misled by the media and others.
❤❤😇🙏🤍🤍👍👍👍🇱🇧
Misguided and deluded. Solar pv generation is a dreadful source of electrcity and if it is economic it is at the expense of the majority who pay very highly for the electrical unit cost due entirely to the expansion of renewable generation. Solar provides very little power for four months of the year and none whatsoever when demand is greatest.
Brilliant
the Climate Change act Is the biggest example of self harm to the U.K. and it's a disgrace that parliament passed it with hardly any scrutiny. To add insult to injury government has determined that we must use renewable generation to reduce emissions from generation. Practically and technically it will not work, as Mr Milliband is shortly to find out. Renewables are second and third rate generators, expensive to build and run due to the support required to allow them to feed the grid. If anyone reading this can show that CO2 is what is driving our climate I would like to hear it. The whole basis is based on climate models, i.e. computer programmes pushed by the U.N. who have their specific agenda of global control. You say bringing in 'experts', is there single engineer amongst those expert? Certainly the DESNZ has none. Councils and local communities should not get involved in such projects, they will not work and cause more harm than good due to a lack of real expertise, the government is doing a bad enough job already !
Ally from Wales here. I'm an individual that is looking into ethical investing.
I had some difficulties with HMRC and as I opined to the tax advisor about how unfair it was that these big corporations evade so much taxation I very much got the sense that I wasn't the first person who'd said that to the tax inspector - poor woman! Great interview. Very good point about free ports - compare Portsmouth port which is publicly owned with Southampton which is a free port. The former helps support Portsmouth council while next door they're on the brink of bankruptcy
Great to hear some positivity!
Delusional people, get ready for blackouts
We need to move away from finance being at the centre of everything. Instead we should focus on the availability of sustainable resources and the activities and facilities we need and ensuring employment is available for all who want it. Yes, finance is needed, but instead of finance looking to maximise its profit, though in a more sustainable way, we should look at how we can create the activities and outcomes we need. Providing finance, wherever it comes from should be an enabler. Public funding and community banks should have a much bigger share.
Communism.
Fantastic idea. Great for the involvement of children and lovely consideration for everybody regarding future generations. Makes a change from the "live for today" society we are living in. Brilliant 😊❤
Thanks for recording the webinar which I was unable to attend. Very upifting, I am glad to be able to invest and be a small part of something so worthwhile.
I came to Ethex via Energise Africa. For small sums of money I invest in lots of projects that do social good.
You are pie and ears. If only other banks and lenders were like this. Love the way you identify unclaimed benefits.
Good luck in your endeavours.
Often people have an urgent need for a loan to pay for a repair. To their means but not beyond their means is responsible lending. Although wealthy myself my money is sometimes tied up. I have sometimes borrowed short term to bring forward a plan or seize an opportunity. Please don't think that the borrowers are being exploited or that they are stupid. Rushing to the aid of a loved one in an emergency for example is understandable. 30 years ago lenders could use judgement on character and behaviour rather than a rigid formula.
Excellent conversation on the power of local housing!
Ive mixed feelings of why a single polytunnel would require a share raise. What is the amount of existing debts you are seeking to refinance at this rate and is there free cashflow to fund the finance raise in the immediate 3-7 year term?, and how will you be generating the electrical energy to produce and heat this produce?
Hi there, thanks for your question. We have rented three polytunnels in the short term to increase our cashflow in the short term while we build the new polytunnel. There is no re-financing necessary. This polytunnel is a very high tech proposition and game changing asset to the local area producing food all year round. The fundriae pays for gas/ oil heating for just one/ two months of the year, however we are exploring a grant to get this converted to a more eco powered method.
Climate change one of reason internal burning earth expansion area. So environment become more hot and glacier is more melting.

And these projects are effectively free of construction and permission risks, the public money has derisked the assets, the community money frees the public investment up to go elsewhere
Hi 👋 pedal and post great idea thank you for trying to save the environment. Where can I find your cycling jobs in Reading as I have been doing bicycle deliveries on the food platforms in Reading for around 8 years? Many thanks 😊

When will this opportunity be live?
Should be live now
Super good luck. This is the future.
Thanks for the support, hugely appreciated 🚴♂️💙👍📦
How much of your company can I get for a very generous £2.50?
Unfortunately you wonder be able to on this as we have a minimum of £500 however thanks for the thought 👍💙🚴♂️
How can you deliver big items using that bicycle? There must be a reason why Amazon is still using vans... just to say...
Amazon are also seeing the advantages, launching cargo bikes in Manchester and London 👍
@@pedalpost5572 you guys always have an answer for everything, why don't you carry a fridge in a snowing day riding a bicycle then?
So let me get this Big vans drop parcels to you and put into your small bikes and deliver... where are a small van (electric) will deliver 100x what you can hold and deliver without having to reload.... On top of that your ANGRY rider's who never smile have started using cameras to try and target other delivery drivers and road users... Great stuff keep up the hate.....
Hello Rudey, nice to see you again, we may not be delivering garden furniture yet, but we are perfect for all your day to day small parcels. I'm very proud to have a wonderful team behind me, please contact me directly for any specific incidents that have taken place and I'll be happy to look into it
@@pedalpost5572 do you realise that we have the postmen that deliver by foot by bike by 0% emissions, i wish you well as i don't want anyone's buisness to fail, but please stop trying to hurt others buisness with your surveillance cameras on your bikes.. Other drivers, delivery , taxis etc.... And reporting them for parking infringements etc....
@@rudey7777 Hello Rudey, thanks for the reply, it's been great to see many businesses and family's try cargo bikes and really enjoy them. Dashcams help make our roads safer for everyone and are a great preventative measure
@@pedalpost5572 thank you for your clarification 👍🏽 cameras do work in reverse also... would probably be a bad thing as your trying to raise funds..... Good luck
So OCC are no longer giving you personal mates rates loans then? Spent all that already have we? Now looking for more hand outs

Well done, moving forward at last with electric car charging. Ethex /EZ-charge
Hi, we have just installed an EV charger for our Guest House in the Lake District, so that our guests can charge over-night during their stay with us. What's the best medium or App's to promote that we have this facility, so we can reach EV users and increase up-take? Thanks. Chris
Good luck with this!
Well done. We need more organisations like this through out the Country. This would help people to become retro-fitters for the long time future.
