Hi thanks for the video. My source material is in 3840x2160, 16:9 and i have the skinny black bars on the left and right side. Cropping only distorts the image within the bars but customized scaling and just cranking it up gets rid of the black bars. I'm still scared that i am messing with the image and proportions. Should i just have the black bars or do you think it's safe to scale it free handedly?

I have a Pioneer BDR-XS07S Blu-ray burner drive. I would just like to play a Blu-ray but having trouble using Makemkv and VLC. Do you have a guide just for playing back a Blu-ray?

How can I know that 5.1 file converted to DCP correctly? How to make playlist that several DCPs for the screening / filmfest will play in correct order?

Two titles showed up with the dvd I entered and so I clicked the one which was bigger assuming it was the film… and it is but it also still has the menus and everything therefore making it unplayable on an external HDD… Is there a way to just rip the movie and not the entire dvd format (menus etc) ?

The DTS is the DVD audio about 1mb something like that and the DTSMA is the HD audio usually you get 8 MB big difference in audio quality. I usually rip the non HD audio just because it depends what you are going to play the ripped file on not every device supports the HD audio.

Why not ty a more professional Blu-ray & DVD ripping tool. If you're interested in ripping backing up your Blu-ray or DVD collection and don't want to be held back by time restrictions output quality and speed, DumboFab Blu-ray Ripper is the best tool I've tried that can combine these together.

I am having trouble. I used MakeMKV to make backups of DVDs and it created .iso files. When I try to burn those files to a dvd+r disc it does not function as a dvd. What am I doing wrong?

It apears that even if you don't have a 5.1 system, selecting that audio option will still allow you to use the TV's speakers but also allow 5.1 if that is detected?
