I've always had a softspot for the original, even if I never played the game. With the lack of context, I grew to interpret it as a villain theme that has tragic undertones, like a "They were kind until driven to madness by x or y event"~ What I meant to say is: thank you for giving me a new rendition to appreciate :D It reminds me of another game's soundfont, yet I can't remember which. ... I guess it just adds to the melancholy xD

Back in the day, I'd listen to this while thinking about a certain antagonist in the story I thought about as a kid. While I've naturally grown busy overtime, that story and its concepts have kind of stayed with me to this day. While trying to draw said antagonist I decided to give the song I often associated with her a listen once more. I saw the title "Her Inner Feelings" in the related videos to the game's own Inner Quarters, and felt like I just had to click. The title felt just too fitting. I'm very pleased to find this, and your work made my mind take a fun "what-if" trip imagining many scenes involving said antagonist, that I thought of over the years, while this track would play at her every appearance.
