In about 2016 my wife suggested we go hear The Waterboys. I thought sure, I remember that Fisherman’s Blues record. They totally exceeded my expectations. I had no idea they are such a good live band and that their newer material is so fantastic. I was missing out!

Legendary!!! Hard to imagine there will never be anything like ACDC again! Angus Young and Brian Johnson were recently here with the whole band in Zürich too! He is 69 years old and listen to that guitar!!!!! Wahnsinn!!!!

We were on the balcony in the point... don't know what the sound was like down there but it was deafeningly loud on the same level as the P.A.!!

The Sunderland crowd had a really good sing, despite the weather. I like the River Album. At the Ivor Awards ceremony last night his hero ,Paul McCartney presented him the award, the first non-British recipient. He played Thunder Road. Congratulations, Bruce, you deserve it.
