Video Description: For this I wanted to keep it simple but also do something pretty cool! So I used one of my Halloween decorations as a reference and then I decided to lean into it being lit by a candle with a carved skull to add the spooky feel. Then I decided to add a witch hat and then I created a poppy flower. The reason is back then, they used an opium poppy for medical uses (mainly as a pain killer) so I felt this worked well for the witch hat! I remember doing Inktober back in high school in art class and when I saw Inktober rolling in, I decided to try it as it can be a way to test my skills and how far I have come in improving my drawings! I am using the prompts created by @thejoshuaahayes (which I will post on my story tomorrow for those interested in doing this). As for the prompt, I wanted to do a big city in the land of the dead so I drew inspiration from The Nightmare Before Christmas and Corpse Bride as an inspiration.
