2021 Profectus Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt promotion ceremony
A generation of 8 Profectus Jiu-Jitsu / Brentwood BJJ students were promoted to Black Belt in 2021. Hear their personal stories and lessons they learned in the process. They did it the right way.
Berimbolos are great. They look great and give you the back from unlikely positions. Definitely got to get these strong
3 months later and I still haven't learnt them.
Arte suave indeed!
As a white belt. Imma try this
THANK YOU SIR❤
great demo master, good job guys 🥇🥇🏆🏆 You are great BJJ fighter one of the best BJJ techniques channel show series techniques on this UKE 8:18 🥋🥋 leg locks, toe hold, kneebar, bow and arrow choke, back triangle, GI chokes, sankaku jime (every sankaku), gogoplata from mount, guard pretty please thank you have fun!
He made it like super easy
Exactly what I was looking for as someone just getting started in Bjj. Incredibly clear, purposeful and methodical. Please post additional content! Very much appreciated!
I appreciate you putting this together. Excellent
Excellent High level breakdown for people just getting into the sport. I love it!
Great video!
Thanks!
Derek Lewis did one of these today
I really like that tripod sweep variation
Thanks! We will be posting more content soon
Wow, this is a way easier way of doing this! Other tutorials are way too complicated
🤯
like si odias el berinbolo
Thank you master .
very nice.
Urijah faber
Great details I always struggle actually getting the back and settle for side control
Damn, i'm gonna try to learn this move, i love berimbolo i do it all the time, great video and explanation!
very good, thanks!
YO BRENTWOOD where u at
here
Great video. I am gonna drill that for sure, not going to sleep before i did this in competition :)
delicious <3 :D
I thought it Chuck Lidell trains with Urijah Faber. When your hairs down in the beginning of video
what the fuck????? this is a old technique from shaoling kung fu, if you are on the ground and it was like a emergency techniques. bjj likes to steal techniques.
I honestly think that students should learn the No-Gi version of Berimbolo 1st, because it's easier to undestand, and if u can get this down, it'll be easier to start using it in a gi match.
Great Video
Awesome, Very well explained, detail oriented video. keep em goin!
Class i need to drill this.
Pushing inwards on the heel was the missing detail. I kept pulling outwards
Vhehy gooj jujitsu, HI liky this mhovy. Obrigado.
very good
Outstanding technical breakdown. Thanks for this, Professor.
Good
Good stuff! Very smooth, and nice details!
thank u
hmm is the person on bottom coach eron? And thats coach jeremy? i go to that academy and i make jiu jitsu videos...
Bunisimo
awesome, thanks!
The day I see this is a MMA bout, I'm going to start drilling berimbolo seriously.
negao azul That day will never come for any of the major open guard sweeps in bjj because it is neutralized by strikes but that doesn't mean they aren't viable grappling techniques
+negao azul This was recently used in a MMA match by an Irish fighter
He "almost" did it. The focal point is almost. But the finish was even more impressive, making C.Mc Gregor jump out of his seat.
Check out Marcin Held's fights. Bellator and I believe he pulls it off a few times. He always goes for the leglocks but I'm pretty sure he got some sweeps doing that technique, or at least a very similar one.
if you are playing delaheva correctly its possible. you might have to avoid an off balance punch or eat it but you are taking the back so well worth it.
Excellent video! Oss!
That was enormously cool! Thank you very much, for that great explanation.
Excellent video. Good shooting (except that one finger there), über clear explanation, multiple angles. Great stuff!
