I really liked the recipe and your narration is so honest and friendly.. would love to learn more from you. I had a question, how do we maintain the delicate flavour of the tea or any other floral liquid while making a jelly? And secondly could you please share the exact quantity of pectin required.
Thank you! Just wanted to touch base and let you know I saw your comment but my Mother in law passed away last night and we are making arrangements. I will try to answer your questions when things settle down a bit. Sorry for having to delay.
Grinding blade in backwards?

Thanks Barb! We are both feeling better. Merry Christmas!
Beautiful and I love all the unique special ornaments. 💕
Thank you Teresa ❤️
I like it even better with Christmas music 😊
Me too 😄
Sure is a beautiful tree. Still love that it spins. Great ornaments!
Thanks. Doug had to fix the base this year bc I broke it. I told him I can’t have a tree that doesn’t spin. 😂
@@HealthyHomesteadChick well I’m glad Doug fixed it.
Thank you for the video. But my experience with this attachment is negative.it requires superhuman strength to push the meat down into the feed tube to connect with the augur. Even so, it still has difficulty processing a chop. I wish I hadn't invested in the attachment. as a rule, the Kitchenaid attachments we've bought have been useless, the apple peeler is another example. We love the mixer but the attachments suck!
😎 *promo sm*
Hey just found you while (attempting) to make some tea jelly. Trying my 3rd batch after beforehand trying liquid pectin with and without an acid (lemon juice) and by using both liquid and powdered pectin. As a first time canner, (or jelly maker I suppose, always made jams with my aunt so I had no idea why my 3 previous batches haven’t set), but after hearing someone who has done this many times more than I had say that the pectin isn’t acting as it should. I felt a small bit relief. Maybe it all is just the pectin sitting in a warehouse under suboptimal conditions causing these issue. Most guides I’ve read emphasized the fact it would be setting insanely fast after adding the pectin and finishing the last rolling boil. Either way, this is the FIRST VIDEO that went over everything my novice mind wanted to ask about the process. You, ma’am; have earned a like and a sub, (and the privilege of being the response to my girlfriend asking me what I’m up to ;P)
I’m s happy the video helped, even if it was in our mutual hardships! 😂 I do think that pectin supplements tying in warehouses has an effect on it! I have since bought new pectin and used it this past week. It worked perfectly on blackberry jelly. Best of luck in your canning adventures. 🙂
Love all your animals! Hope you’re having a blessed weekend! Looks like the first video in a while for you! Hope all is well! 😊❤
Thank you 😊
They look like a happy healthy bunch. 😊
Thanks 😊
@@HealthyHomesteadChick I am happy to see you post. I haven't got a 🛎 from you in a very long time. I hope things are going well.
I’d say it’s a pretty good life 😊
Yep. Most of the time. 🙂
Enjoyed 😀👍
Thanks Henry
Well hello my dear Shelly, its so great to see you again. The turkeys look great and hope you both have a blessed week my friend.
Hey Tony 👋
I hope you have a blessed week too.
You have a beautiful and peaceful home. Those turkeys were putting on a show for the camera. 🤗 I hope you and Doug have a blessed week! Big hugs and much love! ✌️💝🙏🇺🇲✡️🙌
Thanks Barb. I’m enjoying hanging out with them on this beautiful Sunday.
Those sure are some big ol’ turkeys.
My neighbour has two of those. They keep the wolves away from his goats.
She keeps the coyotes from eating the chickens. They are great dogs.
Good dog❤
He likes the smell of the chicken poop. It's just like right after I give my dog a bath and then I take him on a walk and he proceeds to rub all over rabbit poop.
Haha hard at work, I see
Yep! 😂
Caught sleeping on the job 😂
Would love to know what cats think when people use those to tease them
Our cats dearly love it! They know the sound when Doug clicks the power on and they all snap to attention ready to play. 😂
@@HealthyHomesteadChick that’s funny
Good too see you been a while
Hey! Yes it has. I’ve taken a little YT break but may be back soon. 🙂
