Smart water recirculator on a tankless made easy

Rheem RH17920 Noritz tankless EZ111DV Smart life outlet. Used these products with Google Home, IFTT, and Stringify to create a smart water recirculator to not only work off timers, but my voice and other automations from actions in the home (like turning off lights at night to go upstairs). FYI, The Watts recirculator did not have the water throughput to fire up the heater, so I do not recommen...
How did you cut the Rheem plug and install your own
Pump motor should be installed horizontally not vertical.
I have the same pump and about to install it, but my instructions say to put it on the cold side. Can this be installed on the hot side as well?
In had the same question. The instructions on mine says cold as well. Did you ever find out?

I think if you have a dedicated return line, you install it on the cold side. Instead, he may have just installed a bridge valve at the farthest water outlet and installed it on the hot side with a smart switch to turn it on/off.
