One gem will also do but then it takes a lot of time. Will definitely work if you are patient enough to sit through it. Unfortinately no one has gauged the time it takes with one gem.

This glitch is very unpredictable. Believe I had been infinitely falling and other fails a number of time before getting it right. Don't give up. It will happen eventually. (It took me about 2 hrs to get it right. And maybe 8 or 10 hrs trying to kill ludwig concentionally.)

You will have to just keep repeating. I had faced this problems as well.

@@Gary_cooper glad to be of help. Maybe you skipped the cutscene in between the two phases. That sort of shakes it off and causes ludwig to be active. Anyways I am still happy that i could be of help.

Story wise they could have done better. I was expecting more revealation but except for her glorious fight with thor in vanaheim, there was nothing dramatic.

Well from whatever facts and events are given in the game we can see that she really did love him. It was not a strategic alliance as in that case she would have revealed her identity to kratos beforehand and they both would have marched on the aesirs long before atreus's birth. But she rather avoided it and in the end when she foresaw that the clash was unavoidable, she laid a plan that had atleast a little hope of their survival. Hence her death is important here as that would manipulate the results of ragnarok.

These gems are dropped randomly I guess. But I guess you can play the chalice dungeons to swing the chances to your favour. I had done that unknowingly and found online that most people suggest the same.
