The final upgrade my TREK MARLIN 7
This video is the last upgrade of my M7. This time it's an upgraded drivetrain to 12 speed and a slight weight reduction from the rear wheel. by replacing the free hub with a micro spline. Increase the size of the rims to be wider. And replaced a new brakes that look better due to rust on the brake levers.
I hope to myself that This will really be the last time. that I have to pay for the bike I love.

Hello guys. This record is my long bike ride (Marlin 7), over 70km in almost 4 hours total, the country road, up and descent the mountain on the nature route which was the first time I had to ride safely. TEST RIDING THE TREK MARLIN 7 [2021] AFTER UPGRADING THE CRANKSET TO 32 TOOTH CHAINRING. Trek marlin 7 (2021) Gopro 7
Hi. I noticed your new rear wheel is laced so that your key spoke (first spoke to the right of the valve hole looking at it from the drive side) is actually a leading spoke, rather than a trailing spoke. I just laced up a pair of these Crest MK4 rims, and I'm having trouble with something. I laced up my own so that the key spoke is a trailing spoke - the first in a grouping of 4 criss-crossing spokes. This way, the valve hole is as easily accessible for a pump head as possible. This is basically what's instructed by Sheldon Brown. Here's my problem - it _appears_ as though by lacing it in this fashion, I've laced up spokes opposite how the spoke holes are drilled at an _angle_. Yes, the spoke holes are offset 1.5mm on the Crest MK4, but they are also drilled asymmetrically relative to each other - they are drilled at small alternating angles. From what I can see in your video close-ups, though, and from my reasoning, we would both be doing this - and furthermore, there's no way around this i.e. the spoke beds were drilled at the WRONG ANGLES from the factory. What do you think about this? What am I missing here?
I was told by multiple people going fro. Str8 to tapered was impossible. All it takes is the lower cup. Crazy

Сейчас пока всё работает, 3х7 и стоковая вилка, но как только вел даст сбой (предпосылки небольшие уже есть😅) будет полная переборка 🎉🥳👍 А пока радует то что есть! Главное здоровье и желание катать. @@francisgelgordovez9463 There's almost no difference in degrees. only 10mm higher, same replacing a fork with travel 120 mm. The results are similar. There is no negative effect.

Hi mate I changed on Trek M7b my forks to120mm sid select swapped both wheels for 30mm v2 nukeproof horizon with maxxis tubless.tyres aggresor and andent feom 160 180mm rotor and brakes xts and swapped stem for short ! Its a beast now

My next upgrade will be replacing my front shocks with fox 36 grip 140 travel from 120. Hope it would have a good results.😊😊😊😊😊😊 I have upgraded everything to Shimano XT parts.

I look for buy one off road bike but i still confuse. I leave in thailand and i see all road in my area and your video too can make with the gravel bike. I like to go far more 60-100km and i not sure the mtb it good option for me but with the mtb i can pass everywhere. What's your mind about it?
Hello bro, for 100km I think a mtb can do it. but if you want to be fast and light. Garvel will answer. For me, I used to try to lock the fork and ride on the route that I used to. It's really not suitable. If possible I'd make a mtb lighter, e.g. a carbon frame, rolling tires.

Great video! Why did you go for an external lower cup on the headset? Does a zero stack one not fit?
Because it converts from a non-tapered head to a tapered for fit the new fork.
