How Do Ladies and Gents,
Welcome to Sparrows Car Projects. I have a massive passion about modifying and fixing cars. Throughout this channel you will see videos of the journey for modifying and fixing my cars, with the hope to expand with more and more projects as time goes on. My first ever project was my Lotus Excel which was in the family since i was 4 years old, in 2021 it was taken out of the garage after 17 years and given to me to restore. I worked hard on restoring the car by doing 75% of the work myself. After putting the car back on the road and driving it for a year i ended up parting with it. After that project and following the journey of others out there modifying and restoring cars, it has given me the bug and drive to do more myself.
So if you want to see car videos of repairing and modifying on a number of projects, then follow and subscribe!

How to change the clutch on a Kawasaki VN900 Vulcan
How Do Ladies and Gents,
So this video is more of a how to rather than my normal videos. I thought that as my clutch needed doing, I would show you all how to fully strip down and do the clutch, plus taking her out for her first ride.
Also thank you so much to everyone that is following me. Sparrows Projects has now hit over a thousand subscribers 😁. To some that isn't a lot but to me that is huge so thank you to every single one of you.
I hope this does help you.

Ow thank you buddy i am very grateful. I hope it helps people that are looking to do the same. Some videos are to watch and enjoy but i have seen from previous ones i have done which are How To's they seem to be more watched so why not make another 😊.

yeah she does buddy. I have just washer her as i got court out in the rain yesterday and she is really popping out in the sunlight.
Ain't you worried that now when Midnight is done you will have nothing to do and could end up in prison because of drugs and booze and careless lifestyle just because of boredom?
ha ha ha no i will find another project or something to do mate.
I have an old Honda Transalp 700. When I bought it, clutch was very hard to press, got used to three finger clutch pressing and rode without issues. But after 3rd clutch cable snapped I changed heavy duty clutch springs to original ones from Honda. 3 clutch cables in season, all snapped right at the lever. Now whole season without any issues and clutch is very light, not hydraulic light but very easy. Totally not saying you will have similar issues or such, just sharing my experience with heavy duty springs. Also one funny thing to mention, even the lightest clutch, if you take one single spring and try to press it with hands, it's almost impossible. There is no way telling clutch hardness by pressing springs using hands.
@@lauraiss1027 thanks for the info bud. It's been hard work with the adjusting bit its working perfectly.
Following 😎👍
@@stancekings7231 thank you so much buddy very grateful.
Will it work with stock clutch cable ? I have 12" apes but stock cables
@@stancekings7231 yes it will work with stock everything as its just got stronger springs. Its just the cable adjustment that takes a bit of fiddling. But it's mean't for the bike. I only have different cables as I have 14" apes and 2" risers which the standard one definitely won't work ha ha.
You should at some point extend your electrical wires to your to your handlebars so you can run them internally through the bars themself, gives it a cleaner look
@@FRJ1982 that is definitely something I have been thinking of buddy absolutely. The only thing that has stopped me so far is the holes that are in the bars are to small for my connectors as these bars are meant for a harley. There are a couple if things I can do but will see 🙌
@@sparrowscarprojects-em3fe oh I know exactly what you mean because I actually had to dremel out the holes to make mine work. It's a little bit of extra work but it is sure worth the time. 👍
@@FRJ1982 yeah I know what your saying I might do that over winter as it will make the bike look a lot better 😊
Looks like you put the Baron's pulley on backwards
@@FRJ1982 that's the way it came off buddy and from looking at a few other videos they have done it the same way. I did think that as I know the standard one is the other way round.
@@sparrowscarprojects-em3fe oh okay, well if it works it works. I have just always seen it orientated the same way as the stock one is fitted. 👍
Hi there it looks by the video you missed one of the parts on the egr. You need to detach the part from the long bit there is a valve that opens and closes mine had a lot of carbon coverage
