So whats the problem?
What in the “Tim The Tool Man Taylor “ is this McDowell’s Akeem!!?? Some things, you gotta leave it to the professionals. This here is a recipe for disaster.
Trust me I've seen way worse
I think that carpenter made my house too 😊
We tried that on my mother's deck. She wanted us to redo the deck boards, keeping the existing 40+ year old structure. The more boards we pulled off, the more problems we found with the structure. In the end, it was easier to rip it all out and start from scratch than try to fix all the problems and rot on the sub structure.
The rails are gonna be really flimsy with those posts just seated on top like that.
But those aren't drills. Those are impacts
Look at the splits.. wtf...
Dude, Bro, Bud, Dude, Bro, Bud,....
Ah, Do Not misunderestimate the endless possibilities that offers, bra, dude.
That's good that means the soil isnt packed around the post staying wet like a sponge and rotting it out. Now go tighten up that ledgerboard that you loosened with your dopey demonstration.
Just nail some blocks under and add some straps. Making it look like its a hard job to fix. Anyways a storm will come and blow that thing away if it was actually done correctly at first so no difference
Looks like a Simon says gone wrong
should've bought a makita
The roof was added After the original deck people
Ja 😂 mijn hoofd ontploft gewelig🎉
Criminal.
great solution 👍🏻
Where do we start telling this guy he F@cked up??? When he got outta bed.
That's nuts.
Exercises solutions while eliminating problems ❤ well done fellas
🤣😂🤣😂
Yup, DeWalt does indeed have defective drill, my cusin bought one brand new, and it smoked on him the same week.
It’s fun watching kids first jobs
Well looks like its a setting of 2 for that 1/4 drive. 😂
Horrible building method. Did your 6 year old plan this?
Should have balanced them on match sticks instead to be surely safe and 😂😂
So Dude, Dude, Brah, Dude, Dude..
I know what's wrong with it, it got no gas in it😂😂😂
5 1/2.. 2 3/4, 5 1/4.. 2 5/8, learn math and common sizes so you don't waste time like this guy
Wow who gives these people jobs 😮😮😮
Buddy
This deck was built by Dwayne Wade's sculpture artist
He's just nice guy leaving work for next crew
You like those outer wall plates ?
Why would you leave the cheapest, most important part of a deck?
Gecko gauges are the best tool for siding I highly recommend looking Into them if you’re going to do more of this work
Had that problem with my xr impact. Got an atomic and it’s pretty sweet
I don't see what's supposed to support those joists hanging 4 feet past the beam.
There are posts in the ground on the end of the joists. Looks like there was a board across the end, attached to the posts in the ground on the end.
The posts are going to wobble. Replace them and make sure they are sitting on the plate ✌️
That’s not centered
Yeah stop using them 😂😂😂
Dont use them use regular nails or screws
Sir sir help me in here p I need to tie my horse
It’s broken lol 🤷🏻
Speed selector. i have the same issue just wiggle it a little. You do have power the issue is the selector thinks its in mode 1 which has that lag in the beginning
Counterfeit
So I have used a variety of cordless brands from Ryobi to Festool and the only brand I have consistently had issues with the tools themselves are dewalt. I actually highly doubt its the battery itself I have had an impacts and a drill all have issues with connections that I had to resolder bits of back together. I also had a different impact that just completely died on me as well as a 7 1/4" saw that would constantly bind and have other issues. I hate to say it because dewalt makes some of the absolute best corded tools on the market and I have heard that the newer XR lines are great but I honestly find myself using my Ryobi impact and drill for slightly more havy duty things, my 12v fuel impact driver and drill from Milwaukee for everyday common screws and things and my festool cx18 for cabinets and more fine work. I will say I haven't had issues with their batteries, again the only brand I have consistently had batteries lose charge capacity quickly is makita but I haven't bought their newer cordless tools since my original set if tools I bought around 2015 that were stolen around 2020. I can't stand when people go around bashing other brands trying to convince themselves that the brand their picked is the best for every tool there is but DeWalt really is the only brand I have had real issues with.
Same issue with my dewalt xr circular saw and chainsaw. I did notice that the batteries can really make a difference with the flexvolt being the smoothest, but still stalls out often. Recently started buying Milwaukee and Bosch cordless tools. The Milwaukee chainsaw performs considerably better than the dewalt, which makes me want to buy the Milwaukee circular saw when it comes time to upgrade. Haven’t got to use the Bosch very much yet but seems to be of similar quality, but hard to say unless I have the same tool from different brands. I was only dewalt because I thought it was the best value without sacrificing quality, but after watching enough comparison videos it seems clear that each brand has its own niche that it excels at and outside of that it’s hit or miss.
It seems as though the gearbox is shot on the one impact
I knew that…… i did! No i didnt🤫 Thanks for sharing a good tip👍
