personally i love a rainbow shelf! Yours is so cute! <3
I can relate to you as i am still admitted to the hospital, day 2 of surgery Probably be discharged tomorrow. So sending 💐 and best wishes.
I hope recovery is going well!!! I’m thinking of you🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
Ong HOW R YOU SO PRETTY LIKE WHATTTT-??!?!💕😭
Thank you!
By color is the only way
Glad it’s not just me😂🫶🏻
So many books
Ikrr i wish i have that much, i have like 65
Yes haha, books are basically my fav decoration!
I actually have thrifted a ton of these otherwise I could never have so many haha🙌🏼 I recommend doing that because a lot of these books were maybe 99 cents which is SUCH a score!!!
Just came from your last diagnostic laparoscopic surgery vid!! i’m getting it done 11/7/24 but i saw this and was curious, where in michigan are you from? i’m in monroe!!
I grew up in northern Michigan, up near Traverse City!!!
How can you become a permanent substitute?
I would reach out to the schools in your area and see if they are looking for one!
Hey day after tomorrow is my laparoscopy surgery for bilateral endo cyst nd later on it dr. Will put me on hormonal meds till my marriage. I'm 19 yrs old plz tell me if there's another way or should i take those pills
Hi! I am not a doctor, so I can’t give any real recommendations, but I am thinking of you as you make that decision!!!
Do u get ur periods if the date is just next week to ur operation
I got my period before surgery and still bled after! Not as much as a regular period tho!
U should do like 1.make a ponytail 2. It would make more sense
I’m experimenting with different formats so I will definitely try that at some point!🫶🏻
@@oliviaoutman oh ok
Thank you so much for sharing ❤️ im 30 just been diagnosed with endo (after being told i couldn't have it because im too old for endo 🙄) i have a grapefruit size cyst on my right ovary and waiting for surgery. Thank you for sharing your experience, im sure i wasn't easy ❤️
I am thinking of you!!!! I rolled my eyes with you at the “being too old” comment😭🙄 Thank you for such a sweet comment too. I just want people to feel less alone going through it because endo can be SOOOO isolating❤️
Relatable
Thats actually halarious
It’s the story of my life I fear😂😅
OMG so true like we're just playing bro chill😭😭😭😭
Me but with no uniform days.
Hahaha I can imagine!!!
RIGHTTTT btw ur so pretty 💗🫶🫶
Thank you!!!❤❤❤
Congrats on getting your degree in Education! I've been teaching for 14 years and we desperately need more great teachers!
Thank you! I am excited to see where it takes me! I hope you have a great school year!!!🫶🏻
I’ve stumbled upon your channel as I’m preparing myself for my second Endometriosis surgery. My first was for the actual diagnosis, the second one that’s happening in October is for the fact that I go through THE SAME symptoms. Nausea, dry heaving, constipation, diarrhea, abdominal and pelvic pain, dizziness (while flaring up). It’s terrible but you’ve made me feel seen and not alone. So thank you.
Well I’m glad I could help in that way! I am thinking of you as you prep for this next surgery! Endo can be a really isolating and painful battle. I completely understand those feelings and that’s why I started posting about it. I hope surgery and recovery are quick and go great. I got more relief after my second surgery, than my first!
This was really helpful, and those dogs are so freaking adorable! Thank you!!
I’m so glad you found it helpful!!! Thank you, my dogs are my babiessss🥹🤍
Thank you for this video. I’m starting in August .
Ahhh!!! I’m so excited for you! I hope it goes SO great🤍
Found your video looking for tips for subbing. I'm going to start subbing this fall and I am excited! Then I saw you have videos on endo and a laparoscopic surgery. I have endo too and had a surgery. I'm SO sorry you also have endo. It sucks.....
I hope subbing goes so well and that both my endo and subbing videos have been relatable and helpful!!!🤍
@@oliviaoutman Thank you so much!!
I don't miss subbing at all. The pay sucked. You worked almost as much as the teachers. And the students didn't respect you. Being a teacher is so much better now. (Oh and incentives don't work on high schoolers)
I’m definitely excited to see the difference between subbing and teaching. Respect is something I feel like many kids are struggling with towards any authority figures right now. I feel like this is honestly because not a lot of adults show respect to each other anymore😢 I never have tried incentives with high schoolers, I just tried really hard to work on relationships!
@@oliviaoutman My number 1 struggle was being too friendly with the students. I guess I was scared they would hate me. I was afraid to be stern. My next year, that is my focus. Any recommendations?
@user-nk5bw8ml4z it absolutely varies from kid to kid and classroom to classroom! With high school, I always laid my expectations out at the beginning of class and let them know what the teacher wanted from them as well. If students chose to not get their work done, that was on them and they could deal with the homework later! I think connecting with the kids and being friendly, allows them to gain respect for you and learn to listen. It took some time (and didn’t work with every student), but I noticed that more kids would approach me or stay around me as the year progressed. It doesn’t all happen in a day! I also tried to remember my experience in high school and the subs I loved vs the ones that were not my fav! Lastly, I wasn’t afraid to write down names, or call the office, if it came down to it. There is a fine line between being nice and being a pushover :)
@@oliviaoutman Thank you! Hope you have a great day.
When you said you were officially diagnosed i bawled with you. I’ve been fighting since 2019 officially but since i was a little 12 year old had pains and awful periods my whole life. (I’m 35 now) so happy you got the diagnosis and the validation!!! I have my surgery soon and i cannot wait to hear what is found and such. 🫶🏼🌻🎗️💛
Ahhh excited for you to get some answers and praying for a quick and easy recovery for you! I can tell you those tears had SO many emotions behind them! I was relieved to get answers, but sad to learn that is was indeed endometriosis and anxious for what my future looks like with it🥲 Your kind words mean so much to me! Thank you for taking the time to watch my video and leave a comment🤍
i went off birth control in january after being on it for probably about 7 years, since wanting to try for a baby. i had super clear and soft skin while on BC, now i notice more and more spots especially during my period week. as for weight, i didn’t change significantly +/-, but i have noticed my mindset about it has changed. i feel way more confident now. i have been going through the same exact sleep patterns you talk about! i’ve never been a great sleeper, but it has definitely been much worse since getting off BC. i can’t sleep, or if i do fall asleep, im up every hour on the hour. i have also been dealing with the worst acid reflux and nausea i’ve ever experienced! i keep tums on me 24/7! and i noticed that my period returned much worse than it ever was before starting BC. but i do feel healthier, im happy the toxins and chemicals are cleared from my system!
I’m glad I’m not the only one who has dealt with the sleep thing😅🤦🏻♀️ Birth control has definitley been a process whether it be getting on it, staying on it, or getting off of it. So excited to watch you be a momma whenever the time comes!!!❤️
Dis it hurt after your miyoletany endomeioiss tissue right after you came home from the hospital?
I had pain in my abdominal area after surgery for sure!
I have Endometriosis and I thought I was going to be Alone in the fact of dealing with Endo
You are never alone! I hope you found my video helpful🫶🏻
Great tips!
Thanks!
You are a very brave young lady for sharing ❤️ I am 42 and just had a lot done surgically. I know your pain and I know exactly how you feel…I feel very sad for young women and girls who have to go through this and it is worse when it takes years to get the proper diagnosis. It was like that for me. There are lots of things you can do even naturally that can help with your endo and your pain…hugs 🤗
It has definitley been a difficult road, but I’m glad I have been able to share and impact so many people! I try to think of it as a reason for some of my pain and for having these conditions!
Dear hope you are feeling fine now , you went through a lot while you are only 21 years old and it’s a lot but trust at the end you will be happy you stayed strong and god is always there with you. I really hope you are doing fine . May god give you strength and the healing may that endometriosis never ever come back in Jesus name amen!🙏🏻
Thank you! This means a lot! My endometriosis has not caused me nearly as much pain after my last two surgeries, hopefully it stays that way!
Thank you for posting this video and sharing your journey with us ❤ I need to have 2 "plum sized" endometriomas and my appendix removed, I've had plenty of surgeries but this just feels a little more scary for some reason? Thank you for being real and up front!
Awe, of course! I am thinking of you!!! Let me know how they go!!!
I love this! SO helpful
Yay! I’m glad!
I love have you break down everything im becoming a sub myself and this video was helpful <3
I hope it goes well!!!
Great video, and I agree with everything you said. I first watched your tips for substitute teaching and then watched this video and subscribed. I also avoid caffeine because even small fluctuations in amount can cause migraines for me and just make me feel jittery, even one tea will affect my sleep. I avoid milk too, it’s just soy or almond milk for me with no sugar added. No alcohol is a smart idea too, I just think it is so unhealthy. Like me, you can always be the destined driver. Women who drink also have an increased risk of breast cancer. It sounds like you will remain healthy with how you already figured so much of this out. It will keep you looking young and healthy and feeling great. One more thing, real maple syrup versus that weird stuff they sell in the stores is like night and day. My relatives always bring us pure maple syrup in cans from Canada and nowadays there are pure maple syrup options in stores here, thank goodness.
Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment! I really enjoy having the ability to share my thoughts, ideas and way of life and it is so cool to hear what other people think and feel. Also, thank you for subscribing!
How you award the stickers? At the end of the day or at the end of a subject? Do you cut them apart when you get them on a page?
It really is just dependent upon the situation and the kids! I normally wait until the end of the day, if I feel like it will be a distraction. I also don’t cut the page, I just take the sticker off and let the student decide if they want to stick it to a paper, their coat, their folder, etc.
I've been doing this for 5 years.
Awesome! Do you work with all ages, or specific grades?
@@oliviaoutman mostly high school and middle school. However, I do sub in the elementary school if needed. I love subbing for math and science.
@johnshafer7214 nice! Middle school can be really tough, so I’m glad someone like you exists to help with those ages! I’d say that’s my most challenging age to work with!
@johnshafer7214 really? Tomorrow is my first day, I'm nervous! Hopefully everything goes well
@@ShikaAracely just take it a step at a time. The more you get into the classroom, the better it becomes. I wish you the very best. I started back subbing last week.
Great ideas. Thanks
Thanks for watching!
currently watching in my own flare up 🥹💗 we can suffer together lol
Aweeeee haha they are no fun!!! Yes!!!
i'm living this right now. Day 3 post-op. Other than the soreness in my abs and constipation, I am doing well! I will say like she reiterated take gas-x as soon as you can! and keep taking it per teh directions. IT HELPs!! also look up foods that will help you poo and for it to be soft. You can also take stool softners! I have had to do it all - foods (like kiwis), miralax, smooth move tea, senakot and softners plus lots of laps in the house. FINALLY at day 3 it worked, so just know it takes time~ I highly recommend a wedge pillow and even a belly band to help. I am also icing like 3x a day. we can do this
It’s a few days later and I hope you are feeling even better!!!!
Sharing our experiance is very helpful to some people or choosing good docter thank you somuch to share it is very help ful
Yes! It helps to share!!!
thank you for the input continue to make more tip videos
Of course, let me know if you have anything else you would like tips on!!!
Do you feel better during your periods after the surgery?
Yes, actually! It can still get pretty painful for me, but my periods also last a much shorter amount of time now! I also feel like my body is responding to ibuprofen, or Tylenol, much more than it did before my surgeries :)
Going into hospital tomorrow for a hysteroctomy. Going to watch your video
Thinking and praying for you!!!!❤️
Thank you so much for sharing. I am on day 6 right now and have had a very similar experience ❤
Thank you for watching!!! I hope you have a speedy recovery!!! I have a video coming out next week talking about life after my surgeries, so maybe that will be helpful since things have been pretty similar for us❤️ Always here if you need to talk!
I’ve been dealing with pain for a year, they just did surgery, but didn’t find anything. This is so hopeless.
I’m thinking of you. Just because they did not find endometrial tissue, does not mean that what you are feeling is invalid! Have they brought up something called adenomyosis?
@@oliviaoutman I can mention to my doctor, not sure what that is, but I can look. Thanks so much!
Of course!
Great info!!
Thank you!
Do u feel pain during the surgery eventho u are in anaesthesia?
No, but I did feel it soon after waking up!

I have an update filmed and will be posting it within the next week or two!
