Thanks for the share. Definitely interested in how to fix the car itself, not just change the braid, but trouble shooting the car not working. Thank you in advance.
All good found the other video. Relatively new set. Soldier broken. Thank you.
Do you know how to get the arc pro to go full size on a tv screen as I can only get the iPad size down the middle of tv screen?
I'll reply from my other channel. I use the magic arc app on the I pad, it's much better, I connect to TV with HDMI lead, there is a converter you can buy, iPad to HDMI, it works well.
Ok so the Scalextric arc cannot be made to go full screen at all only the majic arc
...digitals are for kids... and hipsters...
Perfect for our newly acquired Scalextric track. Thank you. Two cars had the broken wire problem. All good now. 👍🏻🙏😊
a problem can arise when adding power taps ,digital is ok but analouge has a tendancy to kick the system off after a few seconds,a real pain it is
Can you point me to a similar "How-To" for changing the older style Scalextric guide and braid (blue guide fin)? Do they just pull straight out?
This helped a lot
Great video, explained really well.
Thanks babe
Great build. These buggies look good in any color. Can wait to get one.
Nice Green! - I did my DT03 racing Fighter in fluorescent green and it looked cool also - you should try a Kyosho Javelin or Optima next!
The lime green looks great.
Loved your comment I'm learning and loving it. I'm building one at the moment so I understand the comments about the body shell. Your car looks great. Good on you. Happy R C ing sir
Thanks for the comment good sir. Enjoy your build, I'm currently saving up for the next one and can't wait. Plenty time to enjoy racing this one around first 😁
Looks really scale!
Nice car 👌👌
Just a quick question. What track do you use like this new piece you just bought. Cheers 🙏
It's just standard scalextric sports track.
@@scalextric-hobby thanks 🙏
Looks good 👍
🤟
Like the layout but what I've found is obviously all cars are different and magnets are easier but it takes skill to race the cars without magnets and personally I prefer that kind of racing as although it's slower once you know the car it is a lot more fun. Practice makes perfect and patience is key but it's great that you're children are into the slot car scene as it is a great hobby and something you can do whatever the weather and it's obviously important to tune the cars first, tyres, wheels etc. Love the sport and enjoy yourself with your family and friends in having some great fun. Kind regards Michael 👍🏴
Cheers for the nice comment. I totally agree, it's more fun without magnets, definitely takes a lot more skill. Getting the kids into it slowly, different cars with different strength magnets, they enjoy it a lot 😎
The body looks great!! I think the only one that can tell you messed up slightly is you haha
Like your setup, keep up the great work 👍
Cheers. Some more scalextric videos coming soon hopefully 😎
The Green looks great
just got mine never built one either subscribed
We're about half way through the build. There's a few tricky bits but as long as you stick to the instructions you'll be reet.
looks great man!!!!
Cheers 🥂

Looks great mate I’m trying to make mine good next year Cheers
Cheers pal, we've started scenery now and attempted an expanding foam mountain 😱 kids are lovin it, will get a video out soon. Good luck with your build 😎
Excellent review!! I’m looking for a rtt also for me, wife and kid, and this one is probably my favorite one. I’m also interested on the Autohome Overzone and the Howling moon. My concerns with this tent is how it behaves in windy conditions. Do you recomend the 1.6 or 1.8 for 3 people? Think that I’m in Spain so the summer is long and hot and will be nice to have space between bodies to be as fresh as possible. Last question, how do you manage to con connect the 270 awning with the annex installed? I mean connection of the tension strap through the wall. I would really appreciate your feedback. Thanks!!
1.6 is more than enough for 3. We were 2 adults and 2 kids, then along came another child, and it got a little cramped, but worked until he was about 3. Wind, no problem. We have been in a fair few storms, the worst one being in the mountains in northern Sweden, very very windy to the point where we thought we would have to pack up but the tent held up very well. As long as you strap it down there will be no issues. Super impressed.
Ok. Thanks! In wind do you close the windows? My concern is not if it will withstand but how much flapping and noise it does. What about the plywood base? Plywood should be the bes isolation solution, but how does it feels? Noise? Bending? The diesel heater, do you put into the annex room and leave the door open to warm up the tent? Thanks a lot!
@@scalextric-hobbynice and what about to setup the awning with the annex walls installed? How do you do that?
Obviously there is a bit of noise when it's super windy but you get used to it, my wife wore ear plugs. Setup is and pack down is pretty easy after a few times, 7mins up and about 10mins down. Annex is easy to setup too, and packing it down is easy, we just folded the walls up and put them on the tent just before the final transport cover. All our sleeping bags and bedding stayed in the tent. Diesel heater we brought in through the annex, it warmed everything up good. Kept the windows open during wind, it wasn't a problem. Awning tensioner just went through the annex with no problem.
Plywood base was ok, but we added a condensation mat between the plywood and main mattress, no condensation at all under the mattress
Good video. I was wondering about that very subject. Now I am sold on the ARC Pro. Most of the cars I've collected are analog with no easy conversion process.
Arc pro is fantastic. Having the ability to switch from digital to analog is brilliant, I'm mainly running analog because of the cars I've got, but we do switch over digital for some awesome racing experience quite often.
Nice!
Excellent
Love your videos, no mucking about, to the point.
Cheers, not really been that active, life gets in the way. We now have a dedicated room so hopefully more vids to come.
How have I only just seen this and why are you not making videos anymore! Great video mate ❤
Life gets in the way 🤣 3kids and a job leaves little time for making videos 😞 Although now we have built a new room dedicated to hobby / Scalextric so hopefully more videos to come. I need to learn how to edit too 😁. Check out the new vid with the room 👊
Thank you!
No worries. Hopefully we get more videos posted soon. Life gets in the way. Check out our new vid.
Hi I have a car that works perfect with the rear axle out so the motor is good as soon as I fit the axle and wheels in its jumpy and stalling ? I cannot see any thing obvious and it spins fine by hand any ideas ?
Same problem here, can't seems to find any solution 😢
Sorry for the very late response. How's your track looking? I've had this issue before and it was a combination of track and car, start with the car, make sure the wires from the motor are making good connection to the braid plates, also install new braids. On to the track, start by cleaning the rails, i first vacuum off the whole track then use a small amount of autosol (metal polish) to clean the rails and after that I go over it with electronic cleaning spray and then finally a microfibre towel. Over time the rails get full of dirt, continuity is reduced causing connection issues and jumpy cars. If you're using the track a lot then regular cleaning is a must.
Can you run original SCX digital cars on the Arc Pro system?
Really good video mate, well done
👋 👋 👋 im a newbie i was thinking 🤔 of getting that knight rider bttf racetrack but i would love the cars to slide and drift and jump. Would that work on that racetrack? Is that possible to do. Just curious. I like seeing the cars slide and drift and ju😊
Should work no problem, just godda practice a little bit 😎
I need to find one sport powerbase. I have the older track a classic track I need a power base.
that was the reason i went for the arc pro ... amazing power unit .... 👍👍
Is this compatible with arc pro?
Yes.
*PromoSM* 🙋
Why do you have 2 power supplies plugged in? And what are the voltages? Thanks
Good info thank you
Helpful, clearly delivered information that I've been looking for. Well done.
Great video thanks for sharing 👍 😀
Thank you for this video. I haven't been able to use my track fir a few years due to a disability and I recently wanted to get it running again but couldn't remember how to get it into analog mode. Your video got me going again.
Do your kids prefer scalextric to car video games? I cant see how anyone would prefer video car games to scalextric
Scalextric by far, we have no video games in the house, they have iPads which are limited to learning games but most fun is Hobbycraft and scalextric
👍👍👍Nice
With Arc Air Pro and running analogue cars how many transformers are required thanks Tim
I'm running ArcPro using 2 power inputs, I have a 19m track. It also works well with 1 power input.
@@scalextric-hobby thanks deciding on this or the older C7042 system
@@MrAndMrsEV You'll notice an improvement with a second power supply, even on just 2 cars. If you're running 4 or more cars, you really need that 2nd power unit. Track length issues can be sorted with jumper cables.
Helpful video. Thank you. I bought some in the UK that seem too large, so I cut and discarded the outer ring. The triangle part glued onto the chassis and works perfectly.
Yeah, I think if it was 1mm smaller in diameter it would of been a little easier. After more testing round the track after the video upload, it broke 😖 too brittle the material. The concept works tho. I'll see if I can find some printed with a stronger material. I get blasted with import and VAT charges when buying from UK so that line is closed for me ☹️
Can you post the link to the 3d print drawing?
