*West Coast Roadtrip*
Our epic adventure of 4,000 kms, including 1,000 kms of challenging corrugated dirt roads (or roads that didn't exist at all). We spent 14 nights in 8 different locations, and report a missing cellphone charger, a damaged karabiner, and got properly lost twice. 📌🗺️
Our favorite spots were a tie between Volmoersfontein in Tankwa Karoo and Mokala. The best roads were a toss-up between Botterkloof Pass and Gannaga Pass. The most unique place was the Corbelled House in Osfontein, with the coolest toilet 🚽at Vanputtensvlei (which also had the best shower). And let's not forget the most unique shower at Joosteswerwe🚿.
We shall miss the wide open spaces, spectacular sunrises and of course the doggies, birds, cats, mountain zebras, Airbus-sized bugs, and other critters that popped in to visit our camp site. We hope you continue to entertain the next lucky visitors to your home. 🦓🪲🐶🐦🐑
We may be trading dust, mud and hiking boots for tar, toilets and laptops, but our treasure trove of memories is priceless 🩷
