Then, there was a launch of two IATEFL ReSIG publications (in association with MenTRnet). Thanks for sharing this recording. I missed this event.
This session was wonderful experience. Though topic is new it provides excellent information. Content is reach and valuable.
A thoroughly energising session! Thoughts and ideas that were shared, worth toting home Ghazala and Fareeha's well - judged contributions provided insights into a well-resourced environment at Generation's which equips teachers and learners with the right tools of the trade 🎉
Absolutely incredible content! 🙌 The effort and passion you put into this really shines through. Your insights are not only informative but also so engaging-it feels like a real journey with every watch! Keep up the amazing job👏✨"
Appreciate the comment Dr Donald. You are a great mentor and coach.
It was a pleasure to view this excellent presentation on the British Council's Partner Schools Program and the work of the Action Research Group at Generation's School. Over the past several years I have had the privilege of sharing ideas with the Leadership Team at Generation's School on strategic planning, change management, and AI. It is gratifying to see the progress they are making on embedding action research, deep engagement, cultural change, and AI in their professional Development efforts. Congratulations to Ghazala and Fareeha for the progress they have made and to the British Council for offering such collaborative opportunities through their network. Dr. Donald Norris, Founder, Strategic Initiatives, Inc. USA
Your support and encouragement keep us inspired to keep going and create even better content
👍👍
Love the name 😉
What an excellent and thought-provoking presentation followed by such a meaningful and to-the-point discussion. I especially liked the response to the 'research gap' issue.
Hi Could you tell which is the name for the programm that you used for this?.Thank you. beautiful work .Hug
I attended two different lectures when he came to Buenos Aires, Argentina. Amazing experiences. My model!!!
I am lost as to the message, of this speaker....to acquire a language use the to be and to have verbs...numbers and diagrams, for vocabulary and start building your language ability....one should be able to do this with no outside assistance...
amazing content
I attended some is his lectures at the IOE, London Unversity, in London, in1989/90. He is really good. His materials were usuful to me. The communicative approach is well used here in Paraguay inthe secundary and primaryschools. My teachers were Marion Geddes, Kenneth Kripwell, rest in peace, John Norrish, Peter Hill, Anita Pincas, Monoica Vincent and Roger Flavell. Thanks a lot Professor Henry Widowson.
one of the best professors in Tunisia, I had the honor to be taught by M.Daoud in the 90s. He remains undeniably the think tank behind the success of ELT in Tunisia.
Wilga rivers encouraging a scientific view? X doubt
Since there is the choice of the choice ,it is not a logical assumption to assume something ought to be absolutely correct as far as the argument goes in modern linguistics descriptivism. I link my response to what Professor Guy says when he mentions his work done on using one's own native tongue or using translation work while teaching or learning the language have not been successful. What are the factors that have effect on his say as not being successful of his argument?
Thank you Professor Cook. May he rest in peace.
Excellent interview, wise and meaningful message...
Looking forward to getting to know you online Asli & Kenan :-)
Very interesting presentation, Alexandra! I strongly agree with you. It´s so hard to motivate students to use English to communicate in the classroom!
Indeed, Silvia Severino! But you know? Last Monday I had a different activity in class (with this group), totally prepared based on the findings I had during the research. I guess I couldn't possibly be more satisfied with the development and improvement they've been having. It's really a process, and of course, it must be allied to never missing the focus, and never giving up. 😍😘
👏👏👏👏
