We Are All Mothers
We Are All Mothers was released in 2007 by Rainbow Lotus Productions in association with the Tibetan Video Archive Project, and featured in the Santa Fe Film Festival in December, 2007. An intrepid group of 9 American women---health care professionals, energy healers, and Buddhist students---journeys to Gargon, a remote area of Kham, eastern Tibet, where they run a clinic, ask villagers their concerns and hopes, and offer midwifery training to semi-nomadic women who traditionally have given birth on the grasslands, sometimes cutting the umbilical cord with a stone. The film was sponsored by the NGO Perception International. TVAP is now a part of the Global Diversity Film Project, sponsored by the non-profit SkySpirit Foundation.

Neighbors in communities in both El Dorado at Santa Fe, New Mexico and Acornhoek, Mpumalanga, South Africa, come together at their local schools to grow nutritious and delicious food. In El Dorado, the garden is also an outdoor classroom. Both gardens are part of a worldwide community gardening movement.

I am so sorry that there are now ads, and I want people to know that I do not get any money from them. I just hope they won't be too horrible and against my principles. I feel the film itself is still relevant.

Very interesting and informative video! Well produced and edited. Enjoyed it a great deal. Loved the way it speaks of the human aspect of eating close to the earth, no matter where we live.
