@ a lot of people who’ve came in the Navy with a rate already given gives of a lot of flack but being undead gives you the opportunity to understand the different types of rate more me I was able to figure that out on my own. I wouldn’t look at it as an embarrassment but more as a opportunity

Good morning, Yes you would continue your time as an an PACT but once you're picked up. You have to wait a certain amount of time before you're no longer undes. Re-taking the ASVAB just gives you an opportunity to get better options as far as a rate. Let me know if you have any more questions.

Like dose it happen and how do they handle that in the navy, I’m a current two beer a day drinker and i’m sure I could make it to only on the weekends, but I’m still only 19 about to turn 20 and I understand the law and everything. It just sucks that I have to wait two years just to be able to have a beer.

initially i wanted to join the Air Force but my ASVAB score wasn’t where it needed to be.. so my second option was the Navy; not built or nor have the mindset to be in the Army or Marines

It just all depends on who's processing everything because someone who is in the same situation as you may get a waived much quicker than you.

It’s been a long time since I’ve been to BTC but i know there was this one dude that was about 34 but you’d be surprised.. there’s a lot of older people joining the military.. one of my home boys is 37 and the other one is 35
