It's too bad she's known more for her horrible death (by accidental poisoning, at age 25) than for her films, some of which still exist. The most famous one is The Flapper, and it's wonderful.

I have lived in Tompkins County my entire life.

Irene was my grandmother and I love watching this. I didn't appreciate how attractive and charismatic Vernon was until I saw him moving-now I understand his appeal to women! This footage was before they were separated by WW1. That did strain their marriage, but contrary to the comment below, VC did not want a divorce. The sentiment in the music is appropriate because Irene thought of him every day until her death in 1969 and considered their time together to have been the happiest part of her life.
