Sierra's Gold Trailer
Sierra, an eccentric young black visual artist in Johannesburg discovers she's pregnant for her boyfriend, who also happens to be her manager. Tiro, the boyfriend, presents Sierra with a hard choice: abort the pregnancy or lose him forever. Sierra chooses Tiro over the growing child within her. She consumes a strange concoction, given to her by Tiro, designed to abort the baby but instead it bestows her with the inexplicable ability to excrete gold coins. What follows is an uproarious and darkly comedic chain of events as Skorra, an Afrikaner Pawn shop owner and his henchmen invade Sierra's home with the hope of extracting the gold coins from her.
Her loft, once a sanctuary of artistic expression, morphs into an unexpected battleground of wits and resolve, as everyone fights for what they want and the pursuit of riches, ultimately spirals into a deadly showdown.

Gosh this was ages ago. It was made available on DVD through retail outlets throughout South Africa but probably not available anymore given its age. You could try contacting the record company or even Ringo's management about getting a copy. Alternatively try shopping online or even maybe if Ringo still has a website? Other than that not much to be done, sorry:-)

Thank you very much for this upload. I knew Bish since prep school and this captures him perfectly. Utterly numbed by his death.
This still hurts. He really was markedly different from the typical high-level actor, in that his mindset was so very expansive, and he wasn't afraid to go down the less trodden route, even if it meant losing some traction in the industry. Bishop rarely did interviews, which sucked for me because I loved his voice but when he did, he was sure to so something that had you thinking about it for days. I recall him saying that his approach to the craft was greatly influenced by East Asia, and the way they embraced their culture and projected it in their movies. He suggested that if Africa was to get taken seriously on the world level, then it was necessary to take a leaf from the East Asians. Bishop was a world class actor... his turn in Black Sails, where he slotted in perfectly alongside acting heavyweights proved it. How many African actors could do the same? By far my favorite actor on the continent. RIP.
