The Tide75 is just a very nice sounding board period. The various combination of keycaps and switches I've used on it has all sounded pretty good.

@@dihydroxide I didn't realise I posted it on your tide 75 video my mistake, I was supposed to make that comment on your gmmk pro 3 video, Compared to the tide 75 it's almost criminal considering how much it costs.

@@jinxPad yeah, really depends on what you're looking for. Unfortunately, there aren't any 100% layout keyboards that fully customizable like the GMMK3. So I would definitely still recommend the GMMK3, especially for the 100% layout. I have done several GMMK3 100% builds now, and you can easily change the sound profile depending on how you build it.

@@vudo93 I prefer tactile switches over linear switches. I can't type as accurately with linear switches, especially those with hair triggers. That said, I didn't think the Boba U4T were the right switches for the MU01. Being silent switches, I completely did not get the benefits of the unique sound profile a wooden case provided. I did make another MU01 build with a normal tactile switch, and the entire setup sounded very nice. I'll share the link below.

​@@dihydroxideAnother question, since you seem to have tried this and other keyboards as well. If I'm looking for the sound and feel of the hyte keeb (I tried it in best buy) but down want to spend that kinda money. What Budget prebuilds would result in a similar feel?

@@karma.2781 80% (TKL) Layout? What budget are you looking for? Do you want linear switches? HYTE's Keeb has fairly light linear switches with double-shot PBT keycaps on a metal plate. I have many other keyboard sound tests posted on my channel. You might want to check them out to see if there's a particular setup you like.

@@dihydroxide it's hard to really tell what I'll like from a sound video. I have a razer bwv3 pro, which is extra loud and tactile, and I don't like it. I was looking at TKL and that seems like a good size. I think I'll like linear more. I was looking at a budget of 50-70 USD. The aula f75 was there and looked pretty good.

@@karma.2781 That's a pretty popular one. Also take a look at the Epomaker M75 if you're looking for a plastic case. For a little bit more, I prefer the Epomaker Tide75: full metal case. There's also the Epomaker Galaxy80 that is also a full metal case. Both the Tide75 and Galaxy80 come in barebone for even more savings.

It's completely shiny and a fingerprint magnet. The keyboard is only for display.

Just go for it. The switches that came with the keyboard is pretty trash, so I've treated it as such.

The ones that came with the Akko MU01 "Joy of Life" edition. I literally bought the keyboard for the MOA profile keycaps.

Completely agree. HYTE did a great job with this product just as they do with their other products. Such an underrated keyboard.

I've since done a narrated version of this video (th-cam.com/video/CLAv8L1Wc-A/w-d-xo.html). I really hope to see more people modding their HYTE Keeb TKL. What a fun keyboard.
