Note 14:00 The passing lane setup can already deadlock with three trains, no matter how many extra blocks, if three trains end up wanting to cross the same Y junction together from all three directions. So 3 trains on the most basic passing lane setup you showed first is a recipe for problems.
That's not an issue. That simply marks the tile as programmed, since it can be hard to find programmed signals otherwise. That can be turned off in the appropriate zoning toolbar however

20:03 you actually build it wrong, you need a combo at the original exit signal, a deviate of 3 around one of your standard block signal whit a one way combo, then change the next path signal whit a bidirectional combo and repeat the deviate and the path to combo thing until as far you want, and you can finish it whit an exit signal
It's been a while since I did this series. The NewGRFs are all in the description :) Should be one of the town sets in there :) Total Town Replacement Set maybe? :)

They existed only in a special build, not the Steam version. However now they're completely outdated and were replaced with something different. If you want to try the newest build with cool additional features check here: github.com/JGRennison/OpenTTD-patches/releases It's the best OpenTTD version out there :) You can either copy it to a folder separate from your Steam version or just overwrite the Steam files with this one. It can load your savegames (Vanilla can't load savegames made with this however)
Can you elaborate on what you'd like to see? Pre-Signals are basically outdated and haven't changed in the game in forever. If you watch my tutorial video on the Path Signals, that video should still reflect the current situation in the game.
@@ltjoker8566 I did design a juntion with a single track from a farm connected to a 2 ways station in a power plant which connect to my main line. The problem is my trains could not find a way to go to from the main lines back to the power station (it transport my coal from main lines to the power plant) and also another train couldn't transport grain from my farm to my factory. I really new to the whole thing, so can I send my save to you and can you make a video kinda tut for my situation. Maybe make a series of videos from beginers' saves?

Only now, God know how many years later, I can say for sure that I understood it. Have I used it before successfully? Yes, but I *did not understand* what I was building. I just watched this, and I saw you made small mistake at the South part, you were able to Block your lines if second train would enter the last part right after first would end in the train station. You would need to make same way merge/split for S->N path so there would always be place for train to go from station

Pretty much yes. And when in doubt... path. And to be extra safe, never use a Signal where a train, when stopped, can block traffic.

If I want to programming signal, the signal tile become with red square. I think this an issue sign. What could I do?

The point of the video was not to show how to build priorities perfectly but that Block Signal types overcomplicate things.

It's a feature of the JGR version of the game, check the video description. It can be activated in the settings, search for "public roads"

This feature is now in the JGR version and has seen a few revisions since. I might update the video at some point.

You've explained terminal and ro-ro stations well, but what about middle route stations
Those are easiest if you keep the platforms one-way and dedicate half to each direction
