Debated on getting a quest 3, but it was close to 80% more than the quest 2. As an entry to VR, I am extremely happy with the Quest 2, especially with Brink and Wander for my elderly parents who find travelling difficult. They spent a couple of hours today exploring Wander!

No they are not. It is in 16A format here in India (3 pronged cylindrical plug). But if you buy in the US, you should get a compatible power cable there.

Running great for me, but I already have 1 dead dark subpixel. It is not very noticeable for me unless I specifically focus on it. Brightness is subjective, and I am fine with what it provides, but do look at the values if you want a brighter monitor.

@@roothless13 it shouldn't be having dead pixels so soon, now I'm having second thought about getting it😅 Did you try reaching out to customer care?

@@maihar904 no point in reaching out to them since their clause for warranty states that they need atleast 4 dark dead pixels for raising a claim, or 2 bright dead pixels, or mixed 4 dead pixels. It is disappointing, but I might just try reaching out to them, no harm right? My motherboard is dead and waiting for a new one to come. I will reach out by end of this week for sure.

That is the panel name as per the monitor's menu. XV272 has a v2 version now I think. Not sure which panel it uses now.

You need to access the service menu for this monitor to get the correct model of the panel. I have a photo of the service menu, let me see if I can upload it somewhere. I am not sure where to look at the panel details online, sorry!

Yea I kept it at 144hz. Happy with the refresh rate. But sadly, I already have 1 dead dark sub pixel:(

I just ordered this as my first 1440p display coming from a 165hz asus tuf 1080p monitor. How good is this 1440p display and are you happy with it?

@@denniskarlsson6173 yes I am happy with it, although, you can also try the XV272U v3 which was released recently. Similar specs, but it has a better stand with height, tilt and rotation adjustments

@@sahilshukla2981 windows, I get upto 180hz using DP cable. Even on HDMI, you should get 144 i think. Not too familiar with macos

The maximum I have measured? 89C i think, in the VRM. In HWInfo that is the GPU VRR temp. This was when I bought it. Haven't monitored recently. I will let it run tomorrow evening and have a look!

Very light on extremely demanding games like Last Of Us, and I can only hear it because my cabinet is open and right near the monitor.

Hey, no issues so far, all running fine. Almost all games other than some recent un-optimized games run fine! I believe I am still cpu bottlenecked by Ryzen 2700, but as far as the GPU goes, no issues from my end!

And recent unoptimized games...like which ones are you talking about...i am seeing negative reviews of this gpu ...that is why i am confused ....

@@anindaojha2518 I dont remember having a lot of crashes! Maybe once or twice since I got it in October? A DDU of the driver usually fixes it completely.

@@anindaojha2518 I had very little reviews online when I got this GPU, so I dont know about them. Last of us was an unoptimized game. It had issues running on 8GB cards. I struggle to get 60 fps outdoors, generally around 40-50, but that might be my CPU and the game itself. Apparently Jedi Survivor is also very unoptimized, but I havent played it yet so cant say personally.

Hey, none that I have noticed so far! But then I haven't played extremely demanding games yet! I have the witcher 3 next gen installed, but waiting for patches to make it better than the current stuttering mess. I run an side-open cabinet, so I would definitely hear if there is any whine. Fans make some noise when running at high RPM, but nothing else noticed so far.

I dont stream regularly, but do occassionally. No hiccups so far, temps are quite cool and I get the 75fps limit (monitor refresh rate currently). I am happy with this at this time. However, if you seriously want to stream more, 3070+ is recommended since NVENC is apparently better, not sure HOW much better it is. AMD is taking its driver updates seriously since the last few months, and hopefully their HVEC codec becomes as strong as NVENC. Alternatively, if you have any latest Intel CPU with inbuilt GPU , their AV1 codec is much better for streaming.

No crashes so far as i remember, maybe 1 driver timeout issue. RX580 used to have many driver issues. Been a lot stable these days. I dont know adrenaline or pro drivers, I tend to use the stable version on their website. I only install the optional drivers(latest) if it has support for some latest games. For example, for Warzone2.0, I had to install the Optional version of the driver for support, else the game would not run.

@@roothless13 there are some stable driver 22.7.1 on Asus website, i don't face any crash during gaming but during work like surfing chrome few tab here and there black screen freezing/lagging less with 22.7.1 driver but with the latest i face all issue + uncharted PC keeps crashing when i am using latest drivers but when i install 22.7.1 it worked fine also worked fine 22.11.1 but with 22.11.2 uncharted keeps crashing + i face issue when i use pc for the work, hence tired of all these, then thought let pro driver give it a try and guess what pro drivers are working fine, i find no issue with them with gaming or with work i don't know why optional driver even exist, if they have all the issues, am using pro drivers right now and feeling huge difference not in performance but instability

Why are you downloading from Asus website? Get the drivers directly from the AMD website. Link here: www.amd.com/en/support/graphics/amd-radeon-6000-series/amd-radeon-6700-series/amd-radeon-rx-6700-xt

22.11.2 is the latest optional, and 22.5.1 is the recommended. Pro drivers are mainly for CAD, video editing etc.

All well for my current requirements. Temps generally below 70°C (hotspot). Other places usually dont go above 60. Its a good card for 1440p, will do well at 1080p also if you have a capable CPU.

Definetely get one. I'm using the same exact card and I'm getting 110-120 fps in cyberpunk 1440p high-very high settings

For my current requirements, I dont need to do any over/underclocking. Since I play at 1080p, the GPU is not completely utilized yet. Once I upgrade CPU/Monitor, it will be more utilized. Running all games fine at this time for me, no issues. GPU stays relatively cool, hotspot temp usually below 70°C.

Sapphire is good, but sadly, their warranty is not clear anywhere! I did not want to risk 34k on a product with unclear warranty.

I placed the order on 8th September and got the product on 11 September (9/11). So 3 days.

Which is your CPU? How are you monitoring the usage? Afterburner and HWInfo64?

@@roothless13 i am using intel core i5-9400f 6 Core 6 Thread CPU, my game crashed during game once i using single rail power, but after that i join it using dual rail power

Most games are not very CPU intensive, but GPU intensive. Right now, not sure why CPU usage is less than before. How are the temperatures? All fine? If it crashes again, immediately on restart check event viewer --> Windows Logs --> System to check why there was a crash. @@roothless13 i am not much on social sites, only using whats app, everything is fine now, but i faced some strange stuff, my display goes black 2 times, there is input from GPU and monitor LED looking white i pressed ALT+CTRL+DLT and the i see the screen again shows up, you can add me on whats app if you want

I have solved quite a few issues with the help of the Indian Gaming community. But I can understand if you are not willing to come to discord, no worries. You said you got blank screen 2 times, were you running some games? Was there any issues in the Event Viewer?

I was also in the same boat. I had a Sapphire rx580 before, excellent performance. But the thing is, Sapphire warranty information is very unclear. Some places it says its just 2 years, some say 3 years. And their service reviews are also a hit or a miss. Generally Asus service reviews are better, and better availability of service centres. Also some reviews have the sapphire temperatures slightly higher than Asus. Both are quite good, sapphire being one of the leaders for AMD cards, other than warranty. AMD have stepped up their AMD card quality from the 6000 series, hope they continue too.

Recommended is usually the more stable one. I only use the optional if I am playing some new game and the driver needs to be updated for that game.
