How do you remove the trimmer guard to access the inside shaft? I have pant material that got caught up inside that I need to remove. I have undone all screws but need to remove the guard to open it up.

Worst trimmer ive ever owned. Line is too thin and breaks every meter, doesn’t “auto feed” as advertised and has to manually be opened and fed through. Every meter. Will be returning for a refund.

Bloody love ryobi tools. Certainly the nailer beats many other more expensive brands. For example, my 18g saved a joiners like on the job when his silly paslode broke down on him and he amazed at the ryobi. He went and bought one straight after.

Only thing it's missing really is the ability to tilt it both sides. Gad that's a feature more saws should have.

May I ask what you think about the cord? I heard on other videos that the cord to the pen is quite stiff. Usually, on even inexpensive corded soldering pens, the cord has the flexibility of lamp cord which is quite good. Have you found this acceptable, or is ti rather stiff for maneuvering around? Thanks for the great video!

HI, nice video, i recently purchased a kit, ryobi hammer drill + impact + 4amp battery + charger. Due to the individual pricing and kit set up, i purchased the kit for AU $199, they battery on its own is $149, each drill is $99 - so my reasoning is the @ $50 i got 2 drill and a charger on top of the battery price. I thought i would never use the impact and noticed the strange chuck, after watching your video, i went and got it out, and found a driver bit that had the small recess on the end of the chuck, and realised now that is what is if for, even though a normal drill bit fits it does slips out Regards George

I like Ryobi tools, ive got many, but hose nuts dont look torqued down to start with, came away too easy. Show a test with an accurate torque wrench to tighten, then removed the bolts with the impact gun. edit: if this comment gets deleted, i know not to buy this item!

Broke my handle today. It's flimsy and badly designed. The t-shaped hook on the end of the sword gets stuck on everything and you have to fight it through the hedge. The handle also extends below the sword so it digs in to the hedge and makes it difficult to glide the trimmer while cutting.

This thing is awesome. A real work horse. I use mine for my council work around my village and self employed work too.

How often do I need to oil the blade? How do I know if it needs it?

I thought the point of a power washer is high pressure (1000 - 2000psi and higher). IMHO this doesn't look like high pressure at all, kind of pathetic actually. There are cordless handheld HIGH pressure washers available from many manufacturers. When is Ryobi going to come out with a real handheld 18V HIGH pressure washer?
