You can do as much calculation as you want with prices versus salary, but have you ever wondered why most restaurants have multiple chains in the same area and are always filled up? Why are malls everywhere in the Ph? Surely it's not just the air conditioners. Americans, on the other hand, spend on debt. That is why many American establishments went bankrupt and have ceased business in the US despite being in the richest country in the world. American living is all face-value.

Do not hesitate to ask anybody (Filipinos) for directions or anything you need to know. I'm sure the phone centers at the airport could have helped you load the grab app. Filipinos are very helpful, all you need is approach or ask, they can understand English well. Welcome to the Philippines !!
