Cody Winters is an American singer-songwriter, producer, video creator, radio host and actor based in Japan. He writes J-pop music as well as English songs.
Cody used the moniker Melonote until 2019 and was the grand prize winner of the pillows' 25th anniversary cover contest in 2014.

Fantastic! Lovely animation :D (must have been quite some work) I think the English lyrics remain true to the original. Very well done with the 'translation'! It flows well. One of my (many) favorite songs of the band... I remember getting emotional when I heard them play it live at their 25th anniversary concert. Good times ;-)
