There are different things on my Kali system, including differences of hotkeys , and the voice is not appearing on the login before installing reader packages. Hotkeys differences include pressing ctrl alt f3 returns me to the login prompt. Is anyone of you encountered this issue. I haven't encountered screen reader issues during installation. I couldn't find the specified version of kali on the mentioned website, so I installed 2024 version, and it doesn't have audio issues during installation process.

Hello. My name is Grace. I am completly blind minus a bit of light perseption. I have always been into tech, but not just cool apps or tts voices. I code in python, html, and am learning java. I passed the ap comp sci in 9th grade. I run arch Linux and windows 11 dool booted on my main computer, and am in the process of building my own desktop. I have taken an interest in ethical hacking, and all this was basicly to say that I just found your videos about 5 minutes ago and cannot wait to watch them all. The machine learning task on day 14 was... a lot. I'm not a fan of how much focus AI was getting on this Advent of Cyber. It felt kind of excessive to me if we're considering the target demographic of these events.

Hello! I'm the room creator for today's challenge (Day 10). Your videos have been absolutely invaluable for us here for improving our accessibility. I've learned a lot by watching them. As for the alt text, they were not AI generated! I wanted to take the time to make sure they were very descriptive after seeing how alt text is read by screen-readers, and how annoying it can be with vague descriptions. Maybe I was a bit robotic with them 😂 I'm very glad to see that this challenge was fully accessible.

There is absolutely no reason the connection card needs to be an image. Pure laziness by the developers.

I'm very sorry for only getting back to you now, I never noticed this comment until now :) I can imagine where your comment comes from though :) Screen reader users tend to focus on one thing at a time, so you need to be able to keep a rather extensive mental map of the current project/window/what have you in mind. This is something you learn by doing more than anything else, kinda like how you learn to understand screen readers at that very high speed :)
