@@Saltygardening oh that's nice, I wish I was in zone 8a there are so many things I would love to grow that are only down to zone 8. Like the Wichita Blue Juniper for one, but there are many others.

I don’t know how you keep the deer out of your garden
We used to see lots of deer on our road years ago, but not so much the last 15 or so. There is a preserve behind my house, yet I have never seen a single deer on my property. Quite a few possums and a ton of pesky chipmunks, though!

Resurfacing or widening?
Widening…six lanes Canton to Cumming. It took nearly four years to complete the first two mile stretch. Our segment is already a year behind schedule. It is horrible.

That hill looked kinda steep from my chair. I’m not a leaf person. I had to rake leaves my entire life while living at home. And now since losing dad I’m doing it again.
I don’t enjoy raking, but I don’t mind mulching them with the mower. I LOVE a leaf watching in the fall! It was something we did growing up, and then I enjoyed going with both Mom and Dad and then me and Daddy. We usually get some really pretty color here around the beginning of November!
But is more fun in the dirt.

Good point but where? Traffic is a nightmare even up at Jasper and Dawsonville now! The development is flooding all of north Georgia now. 😢😢😢
