In this video, a brief introduction is provided about plain line as well as semi-adjustable articulators. A difference between ARCON and NON ARCON articulator is also given.

In this video, articulation process for complete denture is described. A simple method of articulation using bonwill triangle method is used. A rubber band is placed on marked spots on the articulator. This provides an arbitrary occlusal plane level. Occlusal plane; formed by sealing of the upper and lower occlusal rims, can be positioned by following the rubber band level.

A detailed description about occlusal rims for complete dentures is discussed in this video. The procedure is described in this video. However, viewers are advised to consult respective reference books for the rationale of making occlusal rims.

In this video, a separating medium is applied. This step is done after the flask has cooled down. Cold Mould Seal is the separating medium used for this purpose.

After adequate time given in boiling water (10-15 minutes) flask is taken out of water and opened up to remove the molten wax.

De-waxing units are used for de-waxing process. Here in this video, de-waxing is done using a pot and boiling water.

In this video, the middle part of the flask (Cope) is placed on the lower part which called Drag.

The pieces of flask are usually referred to as the drag (bottom part or lower chamber), The cope (Middle portion that will capture the denture teeth), and The cap (which is the thin top of the flask). Dental plaster is used to invest the dentures and create the mold within the flask.

Cast is trimmed on model trimmer so that it fits in the flask with adequate space.
