Not a lot knew about this trip but just recently I became an official OFW.
Spent time with my loved ones and introduced a new relationship to the family.

Dear Papa,
Hi pa, day 1 ko na sa estranged place na Oman, im still in the plane typing this and will arrive in an hour after a long almost 9 hours flight.
I actually forgot to bring food with me for kutkutin, didn't buy myself one when i got the chance, i was overwhelmed with the fact that this is it, the dream we all planned since I entered college and this is the "Day 1" of it from being a "One day" the past years.
Behind my mind Pa, i was wishing na you all would send me off lahat pero I realized na totoo pala yung part na mahirap tumawid ng immigration without feeling blue. I felt it with Jof.
Initial plan was him to take me here kasi I like him near me, I want to remember the feeling of being hugged and kissed til it all became real.
Real that I am leaving this person who boosted my confidence seeing the things I don't see myself, seeing the beauty in my most hatred parts even my voice and pagka bulol. He allowed me to enjoy stuff that I can't do in a short period of time, he allowed me to feel respected all the time and I love him for that.
Balik tayo, after I queued for the check in baggage for long hours, I ran to him and hugged him tight. Kung nandito ka Pa, parang magka singlapad kayo, I can't really reach both my hands while hugging him, he felt like a warm teddy. Also he bear this warmth whenever we're together, sabi nya it happens kasi he's with someone he love, like he burn for me and that I too bear the same heat whenever. I found it amazing.
Yun lang muna, still on the plane flying cross this Arabian Sea to Muscat. I love you Papa and bulong mo kay Lord na maipasa ko yung exam dito and filled my duty for the next 2 years an while I'm here look after Mom and sibs at home. 🫶
