With Fava beans and a nice chianti.
How many times can you fall on 1 canister?
You need a new canister after you fall
I’m glad the horse had the human vest, definitely softened the fall.
Horse had a nice cushy landing! But seriously, glad they are alright. This video is one of the reasons I bought a vest.
good
good
How much noise do they make when they go off. I have a hit air jacket and it is noisy and scares the horse which can cause them to kick out.
what's happening to the jacket at 24 secs where she pulls the bottom and it pops up? looks like it hadn't inflated?
It automatically starts deflating after 10 seconds to take the pressure off of you incase you are injured.
I ride with mine (Air vest only model) in the heat of summer in up to 90 degree weather. I know it's 90, because I stop being able to self cool after that. It feels a bit odd at first, but is very light and very nonrestrictive. Even fits my big boobs, which is important.
😂😂😂
Just took a fall and didn’t even feel it.
Jockey needs air vest ❤🏇🏇👍
If you ride a horse, I highly recommend that you get one of these. I was eventing before back protectors were invented, and when they were, I hated riding in them -uncomfortable and restrictive, so I only ever put one on to compete. As I got older, hitting the deck began to hurt, caused stiffness, recovery took longer and often required visits to a physio. 2 years ago I bought a youngster to start. Yes, it went against the grain to pay what seemed a huge amount for an air jacket, but as an OAP it seemed like a wise investment. I wear mine every day as I dont even notice its on, and several times I've been grateful for the very expensive "balance" strap between the D rings! Recently I did have a fall. I can honestly say I suffered no discomfort and happily rode for several hours the following day.
I won't ride without mine now. I can't believe I rode for so long without protection
www.floydsandcompany.com plz vist know.
I'd get on almost any horse with this.
Yea, I lied. It does dampen probably 80-90% of the fall, but my Lipi gelding is… too much. Fell in it today when my mare got too Spicy and spooked. She’s about 15.3 and I barely felt it.
The girl on the grey horse at the end was ripping her horses face off!! But these are amazing, saved my life a few times! 😅
She was falling in a way she could possibly be crushed to death. Letting go of the reins would be the last thing she would think about when it's your body's instinct to hold on.
Kathy R - Ridgefield - Easy to do - love the addition of the mounted allen key!
Anyone notice how the horse was really careful not to step on her?
Most horses are
They may very well be smart enough to attempt to avoid harming someone, but their sheer body mass makes this difficult, if not impossible.
Noelle Laflamme it was bloody brilliant how the horse had soft landing..ban the sport..
I'm in this casse not completely sure how much the horse tried not to step on her, as the horse rolled away from her when moving off her, there was already quite some space, and they need to pull their legs under them to get up, which also didn't bring the legs near her. That said: I've had my run overs with horses, because I dropped off and saw all hoofs pass me/go over me or because the horse startled big time in a very narrow alley (1m wide, 6ft tall horse). The horse startled, jumped forward, because of that launched a branch of a bush which whacked him on the butt and launched forward even more powerful, going straight over me as I had already stumbled during the first jump. I saw him struggle to not hit me when he flew over, counting all 4 hooves over my head, but he succeeded and I survived and he was okay as well. I was glad when that alley got widened later on (parked wrecked car).
I saw as a horse collapsed in a ditch and he spred his front legs so wide to accomodate rider who fell under him. He hurt both of his shoulders as a result but he didn't fall on her thus saving her life.
is it a point 2 air jacket?
yes it is
dAMMIT!!!! That is why I'm scared to do cross country. the jumps don't collapse. I'll stick with low low jumps. I'm so glad she is fine.
me too! jump 1.60 show jump? why not! jump 1m cross country? hell no!
Doreen/Huntington- make sure when replacing the canister you purchased the correct one, and that it's very tight so it inflates when needed
Ashlyn O - Branchburg - A CO2 canister can only be used once and needs to be replaced after a verst has been inflated.
I am getting one. I retrain thoroughbreds and ride 10 a day. I also ride on the track at times. I watched videos of event riders and horses falling on them. They all walked away because they were wearing the point two p2-rs. Couldn't believe it..
Annie Perisho Libertyville- The jacket requires 80 lbs of pressure to inflate.
Anne R - Libertyville - Put the stirrup straps on your saddle prior to attaching your leathers.
Deborah A - Dallas - how to use the lanyard instead of the grab strap that our barn uses, how to fit it correctly and test for length
Jamie W - Hockessin - the jacket will deflate within three minutes
Tammy N. - Medina - I learned how to size the lanyard correctly and how to insert the cartridge.
Gabby F. -Medina- proper length of lanyard should reach the all the way from the saddle strap to the end of the saddle.
Looks like what I need to protect my particular lower back issues!!! I will DEFINITELY try this vest at Woodland!!!!!
i was talking to cystal her mum the other day and she got away with a few broken ribs but everyones all ok now x
Funny how people noticed the horse limping.. I was focused on the rider.
"And thank you Robbie"! I noted Ruby gave a little chuckle, bloody twat lol. At least get the names of those whom you are working with correct, hey ho, at least he's working lol, by the way get the p2-rs, I I was killed due to a terrible fall then that would be awful, but the thought of spending the rest of my life feeding through a tube with someone else wiping my arse terrified me enough to buy one, £600 is a small price to pay.
When I have the money, I am definitely getting one of these.
oh my god
soo glad i purchased one of these!!
i know Corals mum and she said the horse was fine:)
Gosh i feel so sorry for her ... I know that had to hurt.. The horse looked like it was limping pretty bad =/
Her head!!!
Holy moly, i don't know how well she would have fared without safety equipment.
that had me hold my breath ! that jacket is a true life saver ! how she got away with those injuries i do not know.... glad she is ok ! xx
Amazing jacket. Glad she survived it with minor injury.
Wow I cannot believe that she got away with only those injuries. I know what I want for Christmas!!
Is that in holland :d
HOLY SHIT!! thats horrific! wow! so glad shes ok!! :O
Outstanding protection for equestrians, motorcycle riders and mountain climbers.
So for sure the horse was okay too? Cause its awesome that after such a horrific looking fall the rider was able to walk away but I mostly want to know the horse was okay too.
