Hey, appreciate you letting me know! I must not have explained it very well in this video. The plan for the project is getting a G35 coupe to use for the Vaydor kit to fit on and then use my G37 as a donor for the engine, transmission, and interior for the project. I like the way my VQ37 sounds a little bit more than the 350z and G35. Thank you for letting me know about getting me in touch with the owner as well! I still have another 3 and a half years of saving for the project... But once I get there, I'll definitely get in contact with you 😎

Oooo, that is good to know! I never thought to try and find the kit used somewhere that someone bought and never put together. That could really save some money!

I know that there are things you can do to make it less but with all of the upgrades that I want to do (I have another video breaking down everything I want) and buying most everything at new cost it is looking like $45,000. I would much rather save and have more money left over than not have saved enough. Haha.

Hey, appreciate the update on paint! This is an area that I haven't really looked into. I have heard from a lot of different car youtube channels that it cost way more than what they originally thought. Hope that your build continues to go well!

Yeah a lot of them probably weren’t expecting the cost because they haven’t really built cars before. I’ve been doing classics/custom cars and airplanes for about 24 years so I pretty much knew what I was going to end up spending. Paint materials were a little surprising but luckily I had the green color mixed about five years ago for a different car and I never used it so it’s gonna go on this one.

Very cool. This is definitely the biggest project I have ever wanted to do. I have worked a lot on my Infiniti G37 over the past couple years so I feel pretty confident with the platform. Paint will be a relatively new area for me to embark on so we'll see how that goes! Also, green is an excellent choice for the Vaydor. I always wanted a green car when I was a kid!

As far as actually putting the kit on. Do you have somebody that you go to. I have the money for the g35+ kit but sheesh it’s going to cost me around 100 just to have them put it on. That’s definitely over my budget lol.

@@binwallen9105 I would be putting the kit together myself. This build is way bigger than I have ever done on previous cars, but I'm looking for a challenge! Haha

For sure! A year is a good amount of time to get the other car finished up! A lot can happen in a year 😎
