its better to read the bible, any version, than to not read the bible. for everyone who judges others for reading a different version of the bible is no different than those who act like a pharisee holier than thou kind of people. outside they worship me with their words, but insides they are like skeletons in tombs- matthew 23

I'm confused.15:50 god told Moses to take the staff and return to Egypt etc. At a lodging place along the way god was about to kill Moses when the woman cut foreskin and touched it to his feet....I don't understand any of that. Starting with why was god about to kill Moses after telling him to do those things he for him...?
