Hey man, just found your channel, I'm enjoying the serie. I'm still in episode 4 but I'll get here eventually lol. Its just nice to see someone discover a game from scratch and I can tell you didn't look up anything about this one beforehand. Anyways, keep it up. (I hope you have already figured out how to run and rotate objects lol)
bro, you have 10fps
gg
Press C to crouch
I don't think I ever figured that one out. It's not like Pacific Drive, where all the maneuvering mechanics are explained in the first few minutes.
The drop pod was asking for 15 copper sheets. Since you had 9 in your inventory it was showing 9/15. To open the pod you need to acquire another 6 sheets
I do eventually figure this out, as well as other things that are ridiculously obvious to players with even a small amount of experience. I'm playing this (mostly) blind, and relying on the info on the screen that's immediately visible. There are some things I never do figure out, but most of the time, some several episodes down the line, I'll have found out how to, say, enter numbers directly to over/underclock machines. There's a more egregious example of not noticing things in my Outer Wilds playthrough. Without going into too much detail, the info I needed *was* on the screen, but I was a bit too preoccupied to notice it was there.
I was yelling at the screen when you first discovered the cave, but I thought I'd let you figure it out for yourself. Glad you got there in the end!
Nice job, the splitter stack looks awesome!
To get precise figures when adjusting the clock speeds, instead of using the slider you can type directly into the clock speed or production rate fields. You can even enter calculations like 100/3.
I'm a bit late to the party and you may have figured this out by now, but things like conveyor poles and pipeline supports require two clicks because the first click allows you to adjust the height by looking up with the cursor before setting in place with the second click. Also, conveyor lifts are a thing. They can attach directly to inputs and outputs and splitters/mergers can be attached directly to lifts. Finally, it's a lot easier to line things up and get belts to snap if you build everything on foundations to keep things level
I legitimately didn't know about the conveyor poles. I tried to get them to adjust in as many ways as I could before giving up. I wish I'd known this earlier. You're right about conveyor lifts, and I will "discover" them (and how they work) in later episodes. The disadvantage to using foundations is that you have to clear a space for them first, and it's not as flexible angle-wise. But I did find a way to align outputs with inputs, even without foundations. You may be late to the party, but I'm much later than you are. Another viewer told me about Zoop mode, but because I have so many episodes "in the can" (TV jargon; they've been filmed, but not broadcast), Zoop mode isn't going to come up until *much* later in the series. I suppose part of why I don't use foundations unless I have to is that I didn't know you could place multiple foundations at once.
Fuck the wire puzzle
Stupidly hard game , hints are terrible
Today I learned there was a 7th Guest VR game! Crazy to see a reimagining of it after all of these years! 😱😱 Great video! What headset are you playing this on out of interest? 🙂
I used the Oculus Quest. I'd never played the original, but since this was a remake of a classic game, I used a classic horror snippet (Toccata and Fugue in D minor) as the intro music, and put quotes around the episode titles, like they did for TV 60some years ago.
@@47PlanetBaxterian Awesome thanks! The original is definitely showing its age now 😬Thanks for uploading this, it's a good watch!
This piece is powerful. Thank you very much. It is really helpful, sir.
See how is says 'Build Mode: Default'? Hold the R key down while in build mode and use Zoop Mode for building a whole bunch of foundations or ramps at once. Vertical mode is always great for building vertical. Holding the left control button while in deconstruct mode also allows you to remove up to 50 pieces as well. - And if the game is as choppy for you as it looks for us than you might want to consider getting a Nvidia Geforce Now account. I play at max graphics with no lag. It is an absolutely amazing service.
This brings to mind Outer Wilds, where some critical information was hidden way down in the lower left-hand corner. Naturally, I ignored it. Satisfactory has something *kinda* similar, where all these shortcuts show up, but they're far enough below the point you're focusing on that you miss them. Also, you know how Windows decides it's going to install an update and doesn't bother telling you? That's why the frame rate up and cratered on me. I have an AMD Radeon card as opposed to Nvidia.
amazing, 10 fps!
What a shit video
Pretty rude but also true
I'm having trouble telling if this game is heading towards a definitive ending, or is this a No Man's Sky situation where your lets plays could technically go on forever??
There is an "ending" to No Man's Sky. Your goal is to reach the galactic core. My playthrough of No Man's Sky ended just after I did that. Satisfactory may be the same; you could technically keep playing after you finish the story. However, this playthrough will end when the story does. I held off playing the early access version of this game because it had no story.
Wow I can't believe the power line reached that far!
Ya know what's crazy? th-cam.com/video/nzv_oLECh_8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=eTFXBt0sXxZKzT0T and You can crouch while shooting at Hatchers from any distance to prevent the hatcher from hatching.
I'm wondering if some dark twist is coming involving the Ficsit company, just like in Portal? Hmm...
I hadn't heard of this game til now but I'm very intrigued! Great playthrough!
This game has been in development for a long time. I held off playing it until its official release because there was no story in the development version, but there is in the release version and subsequent builds. I hadn't heard of this game either; I was referred to it by a colleague.
Hey bro what you think of a colab. Co-op
I appreciate the offer, but no thanks.
Hell yeah
how can you have 10 fps in the game xd
I can't speak to the most recent version, but performance issues plagued this game when it was first officially released, and a couple months afterwards. If you check the discussion forums on Steam, you'll find quite a few people complaining about it. I *think* it's fixed now, though.
Ooooh... so obvious.. except for when it isn't 😂
Have you ever tried running your duplicate paints and decals through the deconstructer?
Much like in TV production, episodes of this series are filmed before their broadcast date. I finished filming this series months ago, since I started when this game first came out. It never occurred to me to put something that I hadn't built (or that wasn't a dumpster pearl) into the deconstructor just to see what happened. This is mostly a blind playthrough; otherwise, I'd have found out how to teleport the car much earlier in the series. I did do *some* research, but only when absolutely necessary. However, the advice you give in these comments will help anyone else watching this series and comparing their experiences with mine.
Okay my memory was slightly off, with no generation capability you are only down to 75% ... add a wind or rain generator and you will have plenty of power.
Is there a reason you you have a LIMpulse Emitter installed rather than the LIM Shield? Otherwise well done.
The LIM shield is a continuous drain on battery power, and I'm not completely sure how much it uses per unit time. The LIMpulse emitter is a temporary version of that shield, so it uses less power. I'm not risking being trapped in a collapsing zone with a flipped car and too little power to teleport it. Of course, I may not have a choice but to use the LIM shield if I'm faced with unavoidable threats, like when I first opened the way into the Deep Zone. I do have to remember to shut it off if I don't need it *right now,* and that might slip my mind.
@@47PlanetBaxterian Actually other players say that is wrong. The advice is to leave it on all the time and it will only consume significant power when it is fending of an actual threat. But in any case you could add a generator ... watching the battery meter you aren't making any significant dent in your power storage from just running the lights, I dont think the power meter went below 85 the whole trip.
Geez Markotron, what have you got against being able to see? You have unused side racks where yo could mount a generator. You had a light in your pack and you passed up bringing flares and picking up flares. However dark it is for you, for us it is even darker. Please if you want people to watch, give us something to see.
Battery life is important. You don't want to run out of juice when you need it. How long can I keep lights on before I run out of battery power? I need to keep some available in case I have to teleport the car. Flares bounce all over the place, and I have better things to do than play pitch and toss trying to get them in the right place. Furthermore; it's what's in the boxes and the trucks that counts, not what they look like; this far in, boxes, wrecked cars, and trucks don't look any different, and we've seen them all. Even the trailers have similar layouts. Any player can probably find their way around one blindly this far in. But most important of all is time. I don't know how much or how little I have, so I can't waste it. What if I accidentally go towards the wrong exit and have to correct myself? What if I have to fix my car for whatever the reason? What if I'm running for my life? I had a look at my own copy of this episode. Things are dim sometimes, sure, but you're not completely blind. There are times where I rely on the outlines the game gives things, but suppose other players think it's a clever way to conserve flashlight power? Those outlines are on by default, and I usually don't change from default settings unless I absolutely have to. If I really need to see, I'll use my flashlight, which is much better than a flare, but it decays, so I can't just use it willy-nilly. When it's important enough, though, I will turn on the headlights or grab the flashlight.
Thanks man I was stuck on the second gate!
A "reroll" appeared on the route planner just before you finished using it but you didn't seem to notice it. Also Lights, lights, lights!
Does deconstructing paint or decals do anything interesting?
No idea, but I don't see what it could do.
do moore
There's a lot more on my channel, including the playlist for this game, from the beginning.
You would probably get more viewers if you didn't lean o heavily into the black on black ethic. If I could see anything on screen I would be happy to give you thumbs up.
bro you need a better computer, or play less taxing games.
The problem, according to some reviewers, is its use of the Unreal engine. This game uses it, but it doesn't get along with all computers, and apparently, mine is one of them. Still, later episodes have more action in them, but don't suffer any freezing or glitches. I re-jiggered this game's settings so it would be less of a headache. I forget which episode that was, and I'd rather not spoil anything by mentioning it, but by the time I reach the Deep Zone, this problem is over.
Sorry, that was awful. When you can barely see we are facing a black screen. You have lights, you have battery power, you have flares, please use them otherwise we are just listening to a podcast of you narrating you trip.
The special clothes you crafted probably help a bit.
Awful frame rate.
I don't know what they do where you are but over here you can fill fuel cans from the petrol pump.
This is where the "blind" part of "blind playthrough" comes from. It's easy to forget that you can drop any item on the ground, including the gas can. I'm not sure I'll have the presence of mind to remember that out in the field, though. Old habits aren't easy to break, and the time limit doesn't help.
@@47PlanetBaxterian I wasn't sure, just because you can do it in real life doesn't mean it works in game. :)
good slideshow
Markotron builds flashlight "so I can see" ... says "I is pretty dim here" but doesn't use flashlight. Viewers spend most of the episode watching a black screen lit only by small patches of glowing vegetation and the white outlines of loot containers. Viewers: "there was something there that Markoton was having fun with but we have no idea what it was". You have collected heaps of road flares it wouldn't hurt to use a few so we can see what is going on please.
bro you ned to put lower settings, the game is stuttering like crazy
nice
20fps
👍👍Chill watch. Love botany. Hmmm...definitely an original idea for a game.
Brilliant as always
Great walk through. You deserve views and I hope they come your way
Thanks! Appreciate the support.
bro whats your pc specifications? also your videos are good keep up bro
My computer is a little over 10 years old. I ordered the parts and assembled it myself. I have an AMD FX 6350 6-Core Processor, with a clock speed of 3.90 GHz, and 16 GB of RAM installed. I'm using Windows 10, 64 bit OS. As for my playthroughs, this is the only one for a Minecraft modpack so far, but my channel contains several other games. The 7th Guest VR is in progress now.
Little Fugue in G Minor is one of the most goated intro songs I've ever heard/seen in a TH-cam video.
These levels are getting very long...
This installment of the Submachine series is unusual in that it takes place in one very complicated building. It's a contrast to the previous game, in that the temple is the same temple (give or take some minor differences) no matter what layer you're in.
