Honestly it isn’t even gear fear for me any more. Whenever o play a few raids and run into NO pvp and then the first pvp I get is dying to a bush it’s just very demotivating.

I’ve got 1000hrs in tarkov (just under 1000 officially) and I’m not nearly as good as I could be. I first bought the game in 2021, but I didn’t really start putting my head down and learning the game until several wipes after I bought it. Took me close to 500hrs to get halfway decent. If I would’ve spent my time actively using these tips, and not caring after I die, I’d be a lot better than I am now. I’m still leagues ahead of where I started, I can pretty much play the game casually and have fun, but I have a long way to go, and I want to keep getting better. I still find myself getting stuck in fight or flight (freeze is actually the third response) and I mostly freeze up. I’m gonna actively try to not do that, because I know how easy it is to make money and get that same gear back. Loved the content. Keep it up brother!

By the way "do night money runs" is funny (not saying it is bad), ive just expirienced that everytime i do night run, there is constant shooting and explosions for the first 5 mins all around the map. I very rarely get "dead raid". :-) (no hate, just funny)

Would using Factory in both offline and online act as a replacement for Arena? I did not buy the game when it was bundled with EOD because I didn't want to permanently start with major advantages each wipe, and I don't want to drop a bunch of money to use an entire game as a training tool when Tarkov should have better training tools at base added instead.

Not crapping on anyone but these vids of players who play one map and w key is not amazing, nor for the game design should you even learn this only if you just are scared then go play another game, this kind of stuff isn’t godlike just playing the same map 60000 times , there is so much bad habits in the clips

No one is going to comment that he plays on stretched out 4:3 to gain a bit of wider targets at a price of the game looking absolutely terrible? His (and others') targets are literally bigger than ours.

There's a weird correlation between your video on tips for tarkov and being a C P T Consistently profitable trader, the same thing I journal my trades and record my screens And try to eliminate my mistakes, I will circle back to Arena

If I feel jumpy or even if I don’t I warm up in Arena first. Then to regular game.

my issue with the game is, if youre playing solo, you kill 1? theres probably 2, you kill 2? theres probably 3, you kill 3? you better hope theres not a 4th because youre probably out of ammo and need to heal desperately. and even then you do all that and you will probably get 3rd partied before you can loot and leave or some rat fuck extract camper will be waiting for you to deliver their loot

I'm a very competitive player and I'm very prideful besides easily being scared by loud and sudden noises, with these two together, I can never get rid of the excessive heart beat increase and adrenaline.

1:05 Dang, that's applicable to all aspects of life. Thank your for sharing that.

Press shift and W everywhere but move diagnolly and use ALT to free look left and right as you zigzag passed openings into cover, never use scrollwheel to make yourself slower but quieter catching people off guard does not improve our muscle memory and mechanics. When in cover use the time looting to regen stamina, keep your flashlight on (and laser if you struggle pointfiring) at all times. People will hear me coming so theres no point in having it off Bring water and food into raids, 1 slot items like water ration and sprats and be on painkillers 24/7 eat the food and water as u need it while looting. When you get super confident start popping a meldonin at the start of every single raid, point fire for most engagements that are within 30-40meters and aim higher than usual since your gun is at your shoulder and not your head so when you come around tight corners you aim up a little bit not at the center of the screen. If you can, peek all corners or openings as far as possible from the corner/opening, do not hug the wall you are peeking, this is professional FPS gaming knowledge, the closer you are to the wall the sooner your enemy will see you and they will see you before you see them, if you are further away from the wall than they are, you will see them first. When you strafe someone to shoot them, go in a straight line left or right do not counter strafe back into there bullets, you counter strafe as soon as they hit you because that means they are aiming infront of where you are strafing.

The reason i have gear fear is because i lack movement skills (new to pc and first wipe) i lack map knowledge and i lack player positioning (i have 250ish hours yes im hard on myself but i wish i can win all of them instead of gifting loots such as hard earned guns that i kitted for atleast win a fight with my 5x45 PS ammo against BP Chads)

I have been working on my gear fear seems to come and go all depends what I'm wearing. My gear fears mainly based around my weapon. Not too worried about my armor. I seem to be finding it a lot this wipe but I definitely discovered the ridiculousness of my fear and I have 100% been pushing more fights lately my main problem was after losing a gun fight I would dwell on that fight and pretty much tell myself over and over again. I'm bad I shouldn't have lost that next time play it safer lol obviously you can see how this would snowball into doing. Absolutely nothing what would help me was pretty much doing what you said Take control sometimes even if I'm uncomfortable with aggressiveness I will push myself through that after all it's just a game and why did I purchase a game Definitely not to sit hiding in a bush I tried it to take that uncomfortable feeling and I try to divert that uncomfortable feeling to my enemy I bring in some 5 second fuse grenades. It's awesome towards the area that you think they're in. Most people think the grenades going to go off pretty much immediately after they hear it land the three to four seconds that that thing sitting on the ground just cooking makes just about everybody move around they've already accepted their death so now the only thing they're thinking about is possibly avoiding it so they move without thinking either the grenade will get them or you'll get them when they move

I'm afraid of playing solo because as a PMC, you start at the beggining of the round, and you''ll get to experience all the crazy shit that happens and everyone is your enemy, as a scav you'll not have to shoot other scavs, but agaisnt pmcs you are basically dead. Man, i really wish to have the balls to play this solo, but i'm a coward it sucks.

took me so long to get over gear fear, but now I am sitting at 6mil and I am about to craft my bitcoin farm for the first time ever. Biggest tip I can give is you have to spend money to make money, invest in your equipment, and if you use it combined with the tools in this video, it will net you more than you spent!

If I want gameplay like this I'd just go to COD. You can zoom zoom like this but without spending 20 minutes in UI and match queue.

On the off chance somebody has a similar problem to me: check your mouse sensitivity. Might sound unrelated, but at least partially my gear fear was caused by a string of very pathetic deaths during encounters with other PMCs. I panicked in fights and couldn't hit seemingly easiest shots either in cqb or at range. Turned out I f'd something up when converting my mouse sensitivity from other game I play to Tarkov and it resulted with an almost x2 higher sens from my regular one, which when combined with paniced state made hitting shots extremely hard. After fixing this, I instantly felt more confident in PVP, because I could rely on my aim once again, instead of thinking that as soon as I encounter somebody I'd whiff every shot and die.

Really good video man! I'm currently eyeing up the next wipe, since I just don't have the time to play much ATM. I watched thousands of hours but only played like 70 and never got higher than level 12 I think. I tried Arena, but going up against full auto M4/AKs with my SKS and dogshit ammo seems like a waste of time. I currently play Battlebit: Remastered to get my aim and recoil control as best as it can be. I also have over 100h in Kovaaks, so if you have a specific playlist, I'll gladly try it out!
